Lovely hostel near the beach, simple and basic but you will love the positive vibes
The guys working there are great and we really enjoyed our stay there. You can use the kitchen to cook something and the living area is really good to meet other people. 10 minutes walk from unuwatina Beach and 20 from jungle
+ friendly people, hippie vibes, energy friendly: no ACs, real connections: no WiFi (for guests)
- - - transparent curtain instead of bathroom door, and toilet right across from the bed! Windows don't close properly, big gaps between window frames and wall (mosquitos and other insects coming in at night), very small bed linen, bed cover not clean, loud construction work behind and in front of the hostel, very noisy in the morning and evening.
Due to the hostel's great reviews I had booked a private room for two nights, but I was really glad to check out again!
Lovely hostel from lovely people. From the moment you arrive you'll feel welcome and meet great people. Because there's no Wi-Fi all the travelers are coming together in the communal areas and share their experiences and tips. They recently started so some light improvements could be done, like a hook or a nail in the communal shower to hang stuff. But they're constantly improving so it will get better by the day:)
Very nice hostel amd friendly people. It has a really cool vibe and everybody is welcome. When we arrived it was fully booked so we stayed in a guesthouse nearby. Nicole invited us for drinks and we had a lot of fun there that night. Hostel has a kitchen were you can peroare your food and you can bring your own drinks. We've seen the forms anf they are specious and clean. Can only recommend it. Great place to meet other travellers. Thanks for the great time.
Really nice guesthose that I can recommend to everybody. The guestkeepers are very friendly and help you out in every situation. Also the food they serve you is cheap and sooo deicious. If you want to stay at a chilled location with a bit of a hippie vibe, this is the place to be in Unawatuna!
