Sea Rock Villa

This place is truly fantastic! Clean rooms, the garden is beautifully landscaped, a neatly maintained pool and the sea at your feet. Enjoy the sunbeds that the gardener puts in front of you wherever you want. The Palm restaurant right next to the garden is a very nice addition, you don't have to go anywhere everything is already there. We also booked a river tour with Jaba Tours via Sea Rock Villa. That was very worthwhile. Jaba did his best to give us the most enjoyable experience. We sailed through mangrove forests, were able to hold small crocodiles and feed monkeys. Jaba is really incredibly nice! Actually, all the staff at Sea Rock Villa are great! The ladies at the front desk, the people in the restaurant, the gardener. You immediately feel welcome!

And yet there is 1 criticism. And that is the owner. A very elderly man who lives in Sea Rock Villa for 6 months a year and behaves entirely accordingly. On the first day of our arrival, I had sat down on a beach bed behind a plastic fence because it was raining and there was no one in the garden. The old man came up to me and, without introducing himself, he started shouting that I was not allowed to sit there, that he had paid a huge amount of money for this place, and that it was therefore his place, and if I wanted to leave. I did not understand, partly because there was no sign saying that this spot was specially reserved. I just got up and left the place, confused. Later, when I inquired with the staff what was with that particular spot, I understood that it was the owner who addressed me like this. He expects special treatment in his own Villa so we could see, and that's his right if he is the owner, but barking at your own guests like that is really something you can't do. Asking nicely and giving an explanation would have been a better idea. Too bad for this location as the staff are great. I think the other 6 months of the year are a lot more pleasant for them.

Atmospheric and small-scale hotel with swimming pool and directly on the beach. Very helpful staff. Great!

There were 8 of us that booked out 3 rooms at this villa. We all enjoyed our stay thoroughly - the staff were all friendly and accommodating to our times of travel for breakfast from the day of arrival. The swimming pool was clean and food from there restaurant was tasty. The hotel has its own private beach. The only downside is that it is far from key tourist spots, e.g. Ella or Galle. It is a 15 - 30mins drive from the Madu Ganga river and Bentota Beach!
The room was clean - had both a fan and aircon to keep the mosquitos away. Very spacious and modern rooms.

We spent last night at Sea Rock Villa and it was the best choice we could have done! Like a boutique hotel with just few rooms amazingly decorated, with high selling, pool view, amazing breakfasts and so-so kind and gentle people! There’s a restaurent for lunch and dinner, the plates choice is very good, many local dishes, very good prices.the pool is just fantastic! ️ and for sure, an ocean in front… we managed to swim, the waves are not strong.and the sunset was so beautiful! We regret we didn’t stay more nights, really! A place to come back!

Very Expensive & Unreasonable prices. 700/- Rupees per person for the pool but pool is very dirty.

If tired of your daily life and suddenly want to leave.
Look for the sea rock Villa in Bentota. A spacious room, clean facilities, a sea view with a recited view and a pool under a palm tree.
It's a better accommodation than any other beach resort in Sri Lanka. And if you look at the kind staff who always smile and the beautiful two managers (Jaika and Darshika), you know why you should stay here.
The wonderful breakfast and dinner seafood at the restaurant are unforgettable memories. If you want a happy holiday in a quiet place while enjoying the intense sun and sunset of the bentota beach, don't hesitate to choose this place. Train sounds are memories and romance. I will comeback.

Nice little spot to relax for the weekend. Friendly staff, decent accommodation and great food. Recommended for a not-so-expensive stop over.

If you dont have a million dollars and you want a quiet and wholesome place to unwind and have a lot of fun look no further.
Greeted by a professional staff once you reach the facility who go above and beyond to make you as welcome and cherished as possible. Each and every employee is always attentive to any help you may require and give their best to be the best possible hosts.
And then there is the immaculate facility. Really a family's paradise. Perfectly maintained swimming pool to the well maintained beach to the just perfect rooms and washrooms.
And then comes the food. Chefs are always trying to cater to your taste buds and will be very flexible to make you enjoy your meals as much as possible.
We had an extended stay of 14 days with full board and trust me when i say that this facility is worth every penny you spend. Exceptional value for money.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Easy beach access. Rooms are big and had all the facilities. Very delicious food. Pool is also clean. Prices are very much reasonable. Family friendly. Will come back again.

Amazing hotel. We went for a day out the place was wonderful. The staff was very supportive and friendly. The food was very good and the price also reasonable. You can have a bath in the sea. They do have a Bar and you can bring liquor from outside and they dont charge for corkage.

Really comfortable family-room, good food, service, relax atmosphere, you don't need to travel around and just relax a week at this hotel. Really recommend!

Peaceful, calm luxury next to the Indian ocean. Great food too. Perfect place to chill before the trek home. Lovely pool.

One of the best beach stays, with great food option, pool facility and great rooms. The staff is great, politeness is the best word to describe them. They will help you with anything!
Ask chef to make your desired dish! I request all see food lovers to try baked crab, squid and tiger prawns!

A very nice place with a lawn, shack and a restaurant with a beautiful view to the beach which was well maintained and neat, I somehow felt the hospitality towards Indians weren't good during my stay, food inthe restaurant is a must to have a little pricy but very tasty food

The view is great and food were delicious but the room was not that clean and towels were yellow and also bathroom water were yellow
