Sea View Villa

The hotel is located above a gym. It has a relaxed surfer vibe and a nice hanging area outside. There is a delicious breakfast and great coffee from an Italian portafilter machine (but also 800lkr). Rooms are large and very nice, wooden floorboards, large bathroom, AC and fan. Good internet.
The location is ok, like many hotels here near the train line, but there is nothing running at night. Walk to the beach 5min, to Turtle Beach 15min. Lots of shops in the area.

Perfect place! The owner is a very kind and helpful person, he always helped us, he ordered a transfer for us to the airport at a good price, all the staff are young and kind guys, the hotel has a very pleasant, friendly atmosphere

I know it will sound ridiculous but it’s really not an hotel it’s a gym. Need to say that the rooms are great.

Great hotel in close proximity to the beach. Cleanliness and staff service was okay, without being anything extraordinary. Would definitely use again if I'm in Hikkaduwa.

We stopped by for 10 days and stayed for another month. Clean, spacious rooms. Kitchen with everything you need. Caring and attentive owner. We miss Cozy very much.

I am going to share my terrible story with that hotel.

In general hotel looks great and comfy. The stuff were friendly all the time and there is a nice gym! I stayed in this hotel around one week and I'll rember my last night forever.

I am proffesional videographer. I am traveling with backpack full of filming equipment and expensive camera. I always secure my video backpack and taking care of my stuff. In the last evening, I packed my stuff, ready for the journey at the next day. All well packed as I do usually with my tools. The next morning I woke up and noticed that my doors were open, but I ignored this message, I just thought I had to left it open last night. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay in the hotel so that wasn't an issue for me. I grab my stuff and checked out. I left my backpack next to the reception for 20 minutes, I went to buy a bottle of water and get some food. I came back took my stuff and said goodbye.

And now my nightmare started.

I wanted to grab something from the back pack and I realised that my stuff is on different positions inside. Expensive lens was out of secured zip. I panicked. I got out from the train to check it out and realised that my Camera Body Value $2000 is missing. After 2h I found out that my secon phone is gone and few filters for the lens as well.

I am glad that they left my lens, stabilazer and mics at least.

I am still shocked. Obviously the Hotel owner is trying to convince me that I missed that camera in the train or somwhere else, but I was with my backpack all the TIME. It is not easy to come trough 2 zips inside, as it is a photography backpack.

I have reported this terrible crime to the Police, and I hope that the person will panished for this. Also I belive in Karma!

Now, I have to figure out how to come back to my work without my most important tool and change my future plans.

I am sorry for the owner. He seems trustworthy, but somebody from the stuff is a monster to do thinks like that.

I am not going to recommend this place to anyone.

Hosts were extremely attentive, my friend was ill during our stay and they offered to take us to see a Dr and regularly made sure everything was okay, they were there for all of our needs. Room was really big and clean, balcony was big and had a Sea view. Host also organised transfer to our next location for a good price. Central location close to the bus and train station, small walk into the area with the most bars and restaurants but very close to Turtle beach.

Super location to stay on a nice holiday. Faces the best part of Hikkaduwa beach. You can walk right out to the beach. Has 3 double rooms, all very clean and newly built. Has a common kitchen where you can cook up something for yourself. The garden is nice to hangout as well.

This villa is a gem of a find. The location is cannot be beat. It's right at the start of the Hikka main beach where you are in the center of the action yet, as it's on the edge of it, you have a sense of privacy and seclusion.

Modern and well appointed rooms, friendly hosts and a small kitchen puts the cherry on the top.

We stayed for two nights, and we'll return for more!
