4The price you are quoted should be viewed as a suggestion only. You may enjoy the venue. The owner's behaviour is another thing.
The pool is incredible and it is really peaceful. So, why the one star review?
First, one star is generous.
Do not have breakfasts prepared for you unless you like cold undercooked eggs, or you like Sri Lankan breakfasts that turn up in a little plastic bag and are served luke warm.
Do not take up the host’s offer of his brother’s tuk tuk services. He charges a fortune. He also takes you to places you don’t ask to go, if you do buy something, gets a huge cut (which you end up paying for). Do NOT let him take you to the Spice Market is Galle.
But these issues pale into insignificance over a much bigger more fundamental incident which I cannot go into as it is in the hands of the police.
Fellow travellers please for your and your families security do not go here.
A beautiful place to stay.loved it there. So much wildlife and very tranquil despite there being a road out front. Highly recommended.
