Shoba Travellers Tree Galle fort reviews
11This is a great hotel for the price in the area. The interior is adjacent to an art gallery, and the hotel has a large tree, giving it a cozy feel. Breakfast was ordinary, but delicious and friendly service made it a pleasant experience. The rooms with canopies were clean and had air conditioners and fans to keep you cool. All the staff were friendly, so I had a comfortable and happy stay even though it was just one night.
The rooms are nice and spacious, like the establishment itself, the breakfast is very good, in general I recommend it.
We went with 2 tuktuk and they let us park in front of the hotel
Didn’t stay here, but came for breakfast - very accommodating and made us a fantastic dhal and white fish curry with fresh paratha! Great service and a very nice chat!
Stayed during my recent cycling trip in Sri Lanka. Indica and Ravi are excellent hosts. Spent a few hours chatting with Ravi over his excellent cocktails. I'll definitely be back, hopefully to watch a test match at the Galle international cricket ground. Excellent location, service and real value for money.
The place has a nice vibe. Food was tasty and staff very friendly:)
The room was comfortable and clean.
Great location in Galle, along Pedlars street where you can find a lot of food, shops etc.walking distance to a lot of spots in the fort. We love the design of this place too! We will surely come back. Don’t hesitate to book if you plan to visit Galle.
Nice Home-Stay located in the middle of the Gallefort. Nice and Clean room with A/C & Fan with mosquito net. Bathroom was clean and function well. Kind and helpful staff.
Hotel was located inside a shop and it has a nice indoor lounge area too.
The best room in my one month stay in Sri lanka. The value for money is excellent, the room is well decorated, as well as the all lounge area.
Sleeping in the fort area allows you to stay at evening / morning times when it is most enjoyable to walk around the lovely & romantic streets.
One word describes Shoba best: 'brilliant'. Small, family run hotel, in a great location. The people at Shoba will do whatever they can to help you enjoy your holiday in this fabulous country.can't wait to get back there.
Family business: quality/price very good, honest people, all very kind, zero problems zero worries: love it
