Skinny Beach House

When you enter Skinny Beach House you immediately feel comfortable. The furnishings and the style of the house just go together perfectly. The house is located directly on the sea and is divided into 2 floors. The top floor even has a balcony!

The private infinity pool is great for relaxing or watching the waves.

There were only 2 of us in the accommodation, but there were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The rooms are cozy and clean.
We had booked accommodation without meals.

Perfect. What a great stay and highly recommended for a family or two couples.

Great location - literally from the verandah you walk into the ocean. Water is clear and beautiful and there looks like a surfing spot right near by. Place is nicer downstairs more so than upstairs. Can easily fit 5 people maybe 6 depending how you fit your group in. There are loads of ants and insects though so don't keep any good outside!

Oceanfront exclusive with one of the nicest beach around.
The rocks in beach blocks the waves and you be like swimming in a pool!
You also need everything at the villa such as kitchen stuff, nice big led tv and sound system, balcony ac big refregirator, etc.

What an excellant spot and so beautifully designed and decorated. Having the beach out back was a must but I felt like we really lucked out because we were also able to swim in it. Many beach houses are on dangerous riptide waters but because there’s a barrier reef, you don’t have to worry about that at Skinny Beach:) There’s also sea turtles that graze on the reef right out back! I loved the fact that it was two houses away from a really good, popping restaurant which came in handy for when it rained and our dinner plans in Galle were dashed last minute. The help was great and the western breakfast that they cooked us was on point. Would definitely go again!

Incredible beach house on Dalawella beach! The house is beautifully designed with multiple levels; when you sit at the breakfast table it feels as though the sea is swirling right outside. High ceilings means the house stays cool as the breeze from the sea comes through.

From the outside deck the beach is literally at your feet! Soft sand and beautiful clear water. As the beach is away from the main tourist town of Unawatuna, it's much quieter with less tourists - it feels more private. There are only a few restaurants here, though we preferred to make our own lunch omelettes in the house.

Bedrooms and living room are comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed is perfectly soft, we slept so well! Hot water showers that are spacious, and a balcony on the main bedroom overlooking the sea. There's a small plunge pool outside, perfect for a dip after swimming in the sea or lying in the sun.

Breakfast is excellent. We enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast for egg hoppers, string hoppers, dhal, curry and fresh fruits. Good coffee too. Definitely recommend trying it!

The house is just a tuk tuk ride away from the lovely Galle town, Unawatuna which has more restaurants and bars, and Weligama for good surfing and a different beach scene.
