Yasiru is a professional. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about the rich history and culture of the Southern coast. Be it a tour for education or for some fun, he is the man to talk to. I was given a very detailed and interesting tour of the Galle Fort, and visited many locations of historical significance, which Yasiru knew a lot about. A plus point was the knowledge he had, and how he explained the architectural evolution of Sri Lanka by showing us examples from the Fort. To illustrate what the Galle Fort looked like back in the day, he made sure to share images he has collected personally along with some fun facts. For anyone looking to explore the unseen gems of the South, or just needing a guide, this experience will be worth it!

Yasiru took us on an adventure-packed walk through Galle Fort that was a blast right from the start! His architectural insights about the fort's buildings and layout weren't just informative—they were like stepping into the mind of a seasoned architect. We were blown away when he showed us the original Portuguese plans from the 1500s, vividly unraveling the strategic genius behind the city's design. As we walked towards the lighthouse, Yasiru carefully detailed the functioning of each cannon, its historical period, and the events that unfolded during those times. His storytelling skills fueled our curiosity, leading my partner to ask numerous questions, all of which Yasiru adeptly answered without hesitation.

The walk concluded at one of Sri Lanka's most stunning hotels my partner and I have ever been to, where Yasiru recommended the Leyn Baan drink—a perfect farewell touch. Our overall experience was nothing short of delightful, and I wholeheartedly endorse Yasiru's tour to anyone seeking a captivating and informative exploration. A solid 10/10 experience!
