Rented car here, owner Perosh was nice, helped with everything, brought car to our home and back. Pleasure to do business with him.

The scooter we rent was ok, but the owner is not so nice and it seems fed up in having costumers and treats you as above. Moreover price for one day is 1200 rp instead of 1000 or 900 rp by other rental shops.

This travel agency has a number of scooters and two Suzuki Wagon R's for rent. I rented from them a Suzuki Wagon R. The Suzuki Wagon R's they have are from 2018 and 2019 and clean.

The travel agency is run by husband and wife whereby the wife handles the paper. In comparison with other car rentals the paper work required to rent a car is minimal. Only one A4 form has to be filled in. The main details in the form are the personal details and the number of Kms on the vehicle.

I had to pay the full amount of the car rental up front. Although they have a visa machine they do not request a deposit. Instead they require that you leave with them your passport. A number of their previous customers had not returned the car or left the car at the airport or at a random hotel. Therefore they require the passports as a solid guarantee. They put the passports in a safe The complications however is that wherever you go in Sri Lanka as a tourist you need a passport (e.g. Hotel registration). Therefore it is better to discuss the guarantee before renting the vehicle in order to avoid any misunderstandings.

Since renting vehicles with them is quick and straightforward, no detailed check of all scratches is done. We are in 2019 so the easiest thing is just to take pictures of the state of the vehicle. For petrol we just had to bring the vehicle back with the same amount in the tank.

I rented a scooter with them for a day for 800. I asked for a half day rate because I only needed it for 4 hours but the man laughed me off.

The woman who works here is very sweet but the man who I’m assuming is her husband creeped me out. While his wife filled out my paperwork he lounged in the chair next to me, legs spread, touching the inside of his leg, with his shirt half way up his pot belly. He continued to try to sell me on other services even tho I repeatedly told him I only wanted the scooter. He also didn’t seem to take me seriously when I told him I only wanted one helmet, as if a woman can not ride a bike alone.

Anyway, the bike was in fine condition, however it came with no gas so I had to fill that up which was obnoxious.

This guy is a complete psycopath and a cheat.kept my passport and wasnt ready to return until i paid more money!
