Wicki and Hamu were our drivers and guides during our tour of Sri Lanka and they were the best team anyone could have. Their patience and knowledge of the island were of the utmost importance as we were driving from Colombo to pollonaruwa, Yala, trincomalee, and Mirissa. They were so kind and accommodating to all of our needs. I traveled with 10 of my family members and as most of us are Sri Lankan, it was so nice to be back home with them leading the way. I couldn’t recommend them enough for your travel needs on the island.

We had an amazing time during our 10 Day Sri Lanka Trip and it wouldn’t have been possible without Rasanka and his “ Sri Lanka Travel and Tours”. Rasanka helped us a lot with planning of our itinerary and making it practical for us.
The range of cars that they have is amazing and one can tell your requirements in advance. Like in our case, once we shared that while we are a family of three, we (like most Indians) don’t travel light! And hence Rasanka changed our car to a specific model that provided comfort as well as provided space to take care of our Luggage.
We also had a great driver called Anura. Anura was very professional, well mannered, patient, helpful and a careful driver with a calm mind.
Sri Lanka Roads are very good, its very clean, people are simple and helpful. Since there are so many places to see and things to do, its advisable to do road trips esp as road network is very good and roads are also very smooth.
Self-Drive is an option but we are glad that we took “Sri Lanka Travel and Tours” as locals know the language, routes and one doesn’t have to depend on mobile navigation.

A group of us have recently returned from an amazing 8 days in Sri Lanka with Rasanka as our guide. What a beautiful country with so many stunning sights to see!

Rasanka was recommended to us by some friends that spent a week touring with him. From the first point of contact Rasanka was brilliant! Helpful, kind, honest and extremely accommodating with our seemingly jam packed itinerary.

As a group of 11 girls we hired the mini van to travel Sri Lanka. This was comfortable, pretty spacious and air conditioned. We spent a fair amount of time travelling from city to city, so this was essential.

We really wanted to see as much of Sri Lanka as we could during our stay, and Rasanka made this possible for us. We started our first day with a spontaneous suggestion of white water rafting and the adventure began here. We managed to fit in some spa treatments, climbed Sigiriya Rock, saw the elephants, experience Sri Lankan cooking first hand, took an ox and cart ride to the rice paddy fields, and went on a canoe to learn more about the making of Roti and other Sri Lankan treats.

We visited Dambulla Golden Temple, enjoyed learning about spices at the Spice Garden, visited a children's orphanage, watched a traditional dance/fire walking, looked around the Sacred Tooth Temple and enjoyed seeing the elephants in Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

We moved into the highlands to visit a tea plantation, drove to Adam's Peak ready for the 2am hike for sunrise - 6400 steps - walked around Nuwara Eliya town (mini England) and stopped for some tea and cake.

Our next destination was Yala National Park for a safari, we had dinner at the lovely Coconut Garden, went dolphin and whale watching down near Marissa, spent the day at a private pool/beach, and finally finished our holiday in the beautiful Hikaduwa to chill, tan, and party in Mambos and Funky De Bar.

What an amazing trip! Thank you so much to Rasanka for making this possible!

From the moment we touched down in Colombo Airport, Rasanka proved to be an exceptional guide around the country.

He was patient, understanding and extremely helpful throughout our 9 days in Sri Lanka. He put together an incredible itenary which saw myself and my girlfriend not only experience all of the major tourist attractions, but get a real feel for the indigineous culture of Sri Lanka through food and dance.
