Stick No Bills Ceylon Flagship Gallery (Galle Fort) reviews
32Meg and the team are so helpful at Stick No Bills and have an amazing array of posters on offer. Thanks for all your help!
Postcard/poster shop selling retro prints featuring Sri Lanka (because it’s retro it refers to Ceylon). Can make for cool artwork presents and home decor. Prints are good quality and huge choice. Thoughtfully they provide free hard tube to protect your poster for those who buy posters.
Really great and they are doing everything to make their customers happy! If you are there, visit their little shop or check out the great designs online:) Thank you again for saving my christmas! All the best:)
Tastefully done cute shop. Srilanka is well depicted. Great souvenirs from Srilanka you will enjoy throughout your life.
You must stop here if you’re looking to take a piece of Sri Lanka with you without getting one of the typical souvenirs you normally see. Their posters are gorgeous, colourful, and modern. I immediately fell in love with the map of Sri Lanka’s tea regions.
An off beat experience - get lost in postcards & posters that take you on a time travel, reminiscing the glorious past of "Ceylon". An all woman store (Woohoo! Girl power rocks), by the beach - Stick no bills will make you pause, think and ask questions about history of Srilanka & the subtleties that are never spoken about when you travel around as a tourist.
Their packaging is neat & posters are a must buy!
Definitely a nice place to visit and collect some memoribelia posters of Srilanka. Just felt the art is a little outdated and old. Doesn't really have a fresh new perspective of Srilanka. They show the Srilanka, that's shown on stamps. I guess there is much more to Srilanka visually appealing that can be represented in a form of a painting or design, than what these guys have for sale.
Kind of pricey for a postcard (350rp) vs the usual ones at 50-250 rp; found some at 30 elsewhere! But I love the designs and posters.
If you are on the look for good posters or postcards of Sri Lanka this is the ideal place to visit. We were immediately drawn to the lovely postcards of tuk- tuk and the Sri Lankan buses. The new posters of old Indian themed cinema is a nice addition to the collection.
Really amazing poster/picture/art gallery right in the heart of Galle Fort. They specialize in replica travel posters from Sri Lanka's past - definitely not your typical "tourist trap" accessories. A very unique place to browse, although the prices may be a bit high (as expected). Currently they are also offering prints from their guest artist Segar - some really nice impressionist artwork. Recommended!
Interesting shop with loads of posters and postcards. Highly recommended for collectors/designers/poster-fans.
Bright, small shop/gallery. Interesting but expensive posters. Worth a visit in beautiful if maybe overly restored area of Galle, the tourist trap part.
