Sun N Sea Hotel & Restaurant

Didn't stay at the hotel but ate in the restaurant 3 times. We had pizzas and traditional rice and curry. The pizzas are 13 inches wide and are very tasty. The rice and curry consisted of 8 different dishes/plates in front of me and it was superb. Staff are lovely and I thoroughly recommend this place.

Lovely stay, staff is very experienced, perfect English spoken, they really make tourists feel relaxed. The restaurant is worth trying, best curry I've tasted in this country. Location is amazing, upper level room recommended if you enjoy sea views and the sound of the ocean waves at night. Call and book direct for better prices than via Agoda etc.

Very poor service at restaurant. Fried rice made with samba and pepper only. Not recommended at all.

Amazing locations as if you are on a cruise. Beautiful surroundings and amazing staff, really friendly. Only issue is we didnt get amenities during our stay which was not great but otherwise I couldn't recommend it highly enough

Situated in a superb location on the main road facing the sea. Food is delicious and sufficient. Staff is so courteous and will attend so quickly for your need.highly recommended

Great place, clean rooms, very nice and attentive staff and of course a great location directly at the end of unawatuna beach with an ocean view. Very good rice and curry as well, unfortunately the portion was a bit small and they could not provide any more of the best curries.

The location was ideal. Not too far from Unawatuna beach, but enough to have some quiet time on the beach. The views from the upper floor room was ideal. You can just chill on one of the chairs on the balcony and drink in the ocean and bay views. The room was basic, but very clean. The bathroom was spacious and has hot water. Breakfast options are good, and the wait staff and receptionists were polite folks. It's a 10min walk to Unawatuna beach, so you don't have to waste money on tuk tuks. There is a bottle shop across the street for beer and spirits, which is a huge plus. Let me know if you have any questions about this hotel.

We had a lovely dinner here, with amazing sea view. This is a true restaurant so expect prices to be a bit higher. Amazing, tasty seafood.
