Surf 'n' Turf - Koggala

We lived in Long Beach and went here a couple of times for breakfast and dinner. Nearest cafe in the area. The portions are not large by local standards, the price tag is average, as is the service. The taste of the food is ok. It wasn't super spicy.

A cafe with a pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and drinks. Excellent seafood dishes, milkshakes with ice cream, freshly squeezed juices and lemonades from exotic fruits. The staff is friendly. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that you will have to wait about 30-40 minutes for the main dishes, but it’s worth it.

Very long service is the main drawback. After you arrive, they may come to you with a menu even after 15 minutes.
Food is prepared at least an hour after ordering. Even drinks and shakes are delivered only after 20 minutes. Take your time in general.
But the food is very tasty, the dishes are beautifully presented, you can’t fault it.
The prices are high, especially in comparison with neighboring establishments, where the same dishes cost 1.5-2 times cheaper.
I would also like to note that I was never able to have breakfast in the establishment; the gates are closed until 12, although the opening hours are stated from 10 am
An establishment with its own courtyard, right on the road, but it doesn’t interfere. No ocean view.

We often went here for dinner, all the items we ordered were always delicious, the prices were low, the staff was excellent and friendly.

We waited for food more than an hour. Food wasnt tasty and I some of us felt bad after it.

Amazing and exquisite sea food and mixed rice we have ever had. The prices are high, but given the quality of the food served, they're reasonable. Keeps a good customer service for locals as well. One of the best dining experiences. Hope to visit this place again soon.

Giving this five stars because not only was the food excellent (have the baked reef fish - it's amazing) but also they helped us get back to the hotel.

The ordered qty was sufficient as we had 6 who went for the fried rice portions & balance went for the Fish & Chips option

Take note that this place is a cash only shop & the service is slightly slow but they make it up with the lovely food

Three of us dined at Surf and Turf. The beer was cheap but the food was very poor. I ordered the deviled calamari and on first bite had the suspicion that it was not fresh. The sauce was also very thick and not particularly pleasant. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Lovely place, lovely people, lovely simple prepared salads and seafood. We had a feta and watermelon starter and then the seafood platter. Both really nicely prepared and flavoured.

If you’re looking for a not overly spicy, beach fresh meal then this is a good place.

We ate two times at the surf n turf and it was great. The passion mojito was awesome and the seafood platter for two didn't disappoint either. Everything was tasty and the service was friendly and courteous. Additionally the restaurant itself is very stylish. If you happen to be in the Harabaduwa / koggala area defenitly check them out

Very nice dining experience. New location with artistic interior. Service was ok. But might have problems is large crowds we're there. Large portions. We ordered soup and meals for two and it was suffice for three pax. Would visit there if in town definitely.

Up until now now we were very disappointed with the food in srilanka but these two brothers who are the chefs themselves. The place is great and the food is really good. Trust me you will not be disappointed. After the trash we ate at the resort we stayed besids this place this was a blessing in disguise. Keep it up boys. We will viait again soon abd keep coming
