Sweden Inn Guest House

Friendly treat me a welcome coconut drink at this simple but satisfying guesthouse. Easy location just off the main beach road with plenty of restaurants and surf schools nearby. Nice and quiet at night because it's a few meters down an alley. First place I found in Sri Lanka that has reliable hot showers at all hours. Minus one star though because the small fridge smelled so horrible it actually made my water bottles smell too. A/C also couldn't quite compete with the afternoon heat but it did try! Expect the usual tiny ants and geckos but overall it was a pretty good stay.

Amazing friendly environment with brautiful views. Enjoyed my relaxation. Great place to explore.

The owner of the Guesthouse and her son are very friendly and always there to help.
I recommend it if you want a nice and quiet place to stay close to the beach.

Loved our stay at the Sweden Inn. Our host was so friendly and greeted us with a cold king coconut on arrival! Rooms were clean and spacious with good beds and a 4 poster mosquito net. The air con was a godsend in the humid hikkaduwa heat! Would reccomend a stay here to anybody travelling through Sri Lanka.

Couldnt be better looked after. Excellent location, clean accommodation and wonderfully friendly hosts. Go above and beyond for you. Will 100% return.

Great little guesthouse. Excellent value, clean, and as numerous other reviews indicate, Host is lovely, super friendly.

It isn't the Ritz or anything but you won't do much better for the price.

Literally 1 minute from Narigama beach, several eat and drinkeries pretty much on your doorstep, situated just off the very busy Hikkaduwa to Galle rd, just far enough away to not hear any noise.
