Stayed one night in May 2022 Food was terrible. Not worth for the price. They offered a very basic set without any other options for all the three meals. Location and view seems ok. No generator powers during power cuts.this is not the place for a perfect holiday specially considering the price.

Absolutely disaster. Very poor quality rooms. Why it says 4 stars, even they don't have 1 star quality. Food is disappointing. Flies are al over the desserts. Toilet is completely smelly. Very small rooms. Staff is not qualified at all. They don't know to handle customers at all. I hate this hotel. Will never go again

If I could give it a zero stars I would. For reference, I am a Sri Lankan resident. I booked a stay at this hotel about 2 weeks in advance and asked Specifically if I was able to pay the resident price and not the foreign price as I brought my non resident friend with me. We only booked one room and they never mentioned anything about having to pay foreign prices as the booking was made by me and I was the one paying. So we get to the hotel, we check in, we pay the other half of our total, they check both of our passports, and then they take us to our room. We were on full board so we decide to go down for lunch. We get down for lunch, and there is basically nothing to eat. Everything was cold and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. Not appealing at all. I grabbed two bread rolls and decided I could survive on that until dinner. We go back up to the room and not 5 minutes later do I get a phone call from my friend who helped me book the hotel that the manager is calling them saying that we need to cancel our booking and we are not allowed to stay at the hotel because there is a foreigner with me. The manager told us that we had lied to them and that we would have to pay BOTH the resident and foreign price for 1 room. Of course, that’s absolutely ridiculous because we had just previously stayed at 3 other hotels that only changed us the resident price. Anyways, so we decide to leave, and then they try and charged us for our “lunch”. They wanted $20 USD per person. I absolutely refused as there was no lunch! Long story short, we left. If they had an issue with our booking, they should have said something upon check in, not after we were already in our room and then decide to kick us out and the call us liars. Will never return to this hotel. I will never understand the point of going through the trouble of getting a resident visa as you can’t even use it most places. This is not the first time we have been denied using our visas. (Also at Sigirya Rock and Pinawalla Elephant Orphanage).

Excellent service and excellent hotel! Customer service was superb! Staff was very friendly and very helpful! Food was very nice and tasty.rooms and washrooms were very clean.will recommend for everyone. Love to stay for another time.

If you search for a really nice place to chill, 5 start recommandation.
Hidden stuff like pool boys, restaurant staff, cleaners etc are so nice and super fast and helpful but despite the management has much space for improvement, super slow, bad English and searching more for excuses instead of solutions (and I'm not talking about the energy outages or something else like that)

I definitely can recommand the massage, quite nice Man, with a lot of experience! Best massage ever

Excellent food, especially when the chef is whipping up some local or south indian recipes.
Very good beach, pool looks a bit odd - but that might be due to the frequent power cut (which of course affect water regeneration).

It’s not more than 3star property. Food was not good even they were falling short of vegetarian items. It’s not good hotel for vegetarians

We stayed 3 night. The hotel isnt 4 star.last nigh we see the insectes in our bed.we dindint have 5 our water and 1 hour power.this hotel is change our mind about serilanak we are not sasticfied. It dosent cost a cent to sepend money here

Never stay in this hotel at bentota. The worst staff in srilanka. Restaurant staffs think they can fool the tourists. Worst experience in my full trip.

Food was terrible, rooms were sub par and definitely didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. If the room price was half of what we paid then it would've been a good deal.

A great place for honeymooners.
They welcomed us with a card and a great decoration inside room. Very nice scenic view from our balcony. We visited from India in the month of January and the weather was quite appropriate.

I stayed here in 1st week of Jan 2022 for 2 nights and its amazing.

The moment you enter you see the indian ocean and its breathtaking. The rooms are a slightly dated BUT they are amazing. Each room has a balcony with a view of the pool and ocean.

The staff is so kind and courteous.
The food is very good and the chefs made sure that we are comfortable.

I think they are aware and thankful of the fact that tourists and patrons are mist important to regions economy and livelihood.

Covid protocols are followed to the T (also almost everywhere in SriLanka)

Was so excited to stay at Temple tree based on online recommendations and rating. Worst customer service, everything works on snail speed.

We had requested them to arrange for an RTPCR to help us travel back 10 days in advance and it was still not booked for us. My stay here ruined my entire mood for my holiday and made us waste an entire day waiting for a RTPCR test.

Food is below average and takes forever to be served.

Rooms just look good are not clean, have many insects and the bed is super uncomfortable.

I definitely won't recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a peaceful time.

The staff is so unhelpful, no proper management, no one has answers or solutions, everything is vauge and in the air.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and I would say this is over rated and the ambience of the hotel was also not great. The food varieties were very low. Located behind the beach, they could do wonders, but not much effort was taken. Also, the rooms were not great, it was just clean.

Top notch service and hospitality. Dinner and breakfast buffet spread is amazing. They have a private beach where one can play In water or just relax.

Very good staff. Rooms and location are fantastic. Disadvantage is that there is no animation in the evening.

I came to stay during the isolation period. Hotel was rated 4 star, but not standard.
The air flow in the air conditioner, bed mattress and water flow of shower was bad. The good thing is the sea view and delicious food from the hotel. I appreciate staffs commitment and hospitality.

Actually I have to thanks to the manager staff and the savens of the Temple Tree Resort weligama. Nice place in Sri Lanka. I head been there for my corontain period from 21st of March 2021 up to 29th of march during this days I got so many experience with enjoyable journey for me.
