2Sanjaya and his family are so nice, we felt like at home in the accomodation. The place is clean and comfortable, the meals were amazing (home cooked sri lankan cuisine at its best!), they offered us bikes to visit the beach. We highly recommend!
To understand what Sri Lankans really are like, you definitely have to live in this family. Responsive, attentive, calm and friendly. We immediately respond to any of your requests. I said that it would be nice to have a desk in the room, and they made one for me. Sanjiya is an interesting, intelligent man with an amazing sense of humor. His wife and son generally loved me. Mom - Shanti is also an excellent Aurvedic Massage Therapist.
In this wonderful house I found a second family. And the place itself is simply amazing. Awesome sunrise over the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The room is large and clean. Excellent hot water pressure. And the water itself is very clean from a well, so I drank straight from the tap. Highly recommend.
