The Citadel

Very nice place and the couple with family runs it are nice people.
I stayed in a house ground floor with a
big kitchen

I spent 3 weeks at The Citadel. It was peaceful, the family was kind and does not intervene. The place is super clean and the one bed apartment was very spacious. The WiFi was good, the kitchen had utensils to cook and there was always hot water. There are many restaurants and cafes around and the beach is across the road. Mr. Sumith, Ms Rasangi and the kids are all great people. I highly recommend a stay with them.

Host lady is very friendly.
The rooms are well cleaned and the premises have a good atmosphere.
There are many windows during the day, so it is bright, but at night, it is dark because there is little electricity.not using wifi.
Get off the bus and walk for about 5 minutes.
About 4 stations (40LKR) to the bus terminal in the center of Hikkadua
There is also a restaurant within walking distance.
Highly recommended at this price.

Very smiling and friendly
My mom picked me up! I fell in love with it the moment I got here. The room was a little dark with electricity, but that's not a problem. There is also a hot shower. I was grateful that there was a water supply in front of the entrance of the inn! I was saved to wash sandals with sand on the way back from the beach. I am satisfied with this price!

The location is perfect and the rooms are very clean. Restaurants everywhere and shops. Property is literally 5 seconds away from the beach. The owner is very very kind and helpful. Will 100% recommend to everyone.

Worth the price, good accomodation facilities and not far off from the city.
