The Max Wadiya

The max wadiya team have been incredible since the moment we arrived. We came on our first family sun holiday with our baby girl (who turned 1 on 18th March). The team were so good with her! She had the best time exploring, playing in the pool, napping in the hammock (like a queen) and most importantly the unique experience of releasing baby sea turtles every evening.
Thank you for being so wonderful!
We can’t go without mentioning the food. I will be dreaming of Ranjan & co’s amazing Sri Lankan curries. I will dream - until next time! We will be back!

This place is a slice of paradise. It is more of a private villa (plus two suites) than other boutique hotels, including wonderful staff. Great privacy, thanks to a large private garden, and wonderful views and food. Ayurweda treatments available on site, and a private salt water pool. Ideal for R&R, difficult to leave! Important note; maps is wrong about the location! It is right on the beach, just to the south of Ambalangoda town/village.

Just had nice contact again today. Miss the hospitality, the great food, the poolside drinks and the "One Million Dollar Location". Simply recommended!

This boutique hotel is fabulous. Right on the beach, very secluded and stunning views. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We had a great experience and can’t wait to return.

Thank you for such a charming and lovely stay! The staff was all so helpful and every meal cooked for us was a delight. The grounds and location were beyond compare for their ability to invite relaxation and reflection. Yoga, massage, and strolls along the beach - it all added up to a wonderfully relaxing time. Our two-year-old loved the kiddie pool, which was perfect for her age. Max Wadiya, and its trusty manager Ranjan, get everything right. We'll be back!
