The climate is very cool, the people are very hospitable, rooms and accomodation are as per the suggestions very pleasant stay

This is a very beautiful hotel right on a beach. There are room service is very clean and staff also very responsive. It’s very amazing I want to go again and again. It’s food is also testy. It’s nice place to visit with family and friends.

Loved our stay here, super cool Bouqitue hotel with friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, 30 seconds walk to the surf shack to rent boards and the view was amazing. Food menu was varied and really high quality. 100% wound stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting south Sri Lanka to stay here!

Super great boutique hotel. The building is located right at the beach (access from the hotels backyard), every room with sea view, super friendly personnel and great food! We stayed for four nights and would definitely come back! Worth it!

Gorgeous hotel right on a surf beach. We did aren't surfers but enjoyed our walks on the beach and seeing life go by. A very calm beach with a laid back vide. The exclusive and intimate hotel was the perfect retreat. We stayed here for 5 nights and did not want to leave! We were there when another couple got engaged and loved how the hotel staff celebrated that sweet moment for them. Yummy food, fabulous style and design and wonderful staff. It was such a wonderful long weekend for us!

What a stunning hotel! This was the last stop of our 13-day trip and it was the perfect end to our memorable holiday on this magical island. Sri Lankans are a beautiful people but the staff at The Sandhya takes it to the next level. They were warm, helpful and gentle. Food was pre-ordered and specially made for us (as there were not many guests so we got to order our food and they kitchen team would go and shop for fresh produce!).
It was rather quiet over the low season but we loved it. The weather was pleasant (occasional rain) but with the more gorgeous sunset ever! The hotel situated right on the beach but on this part that has the widest beach front. So even with the low season and high tide, we could stroll along the beach in front of the hotel to enjoy the views and take in the special ocean feeling.
The hotel and design is just WOW. We have never seen anything like it throughout our holiday. Super stylish design and had every creature comfort you would expect in a luxury boutique hotel and more. It felt like our own exclusive beach house. We did not want to leave!

The food was fresh and delicious.great beach and very friendly staff and clean white sand and expansive with the most amazing sunset.

Probably the best hotel on the South Coast. We stayed for 8 nights and honestly could have stayed longer. The food is great, the rooms are fabulous, the service is good. Overall, it’s a lovely place.

Nice place to escape for an afternoon. Tables, chairs, and Wi-Fi in the lobby to get some work done and decadent smoothies which they actually serve nice and cold.

+ beautifully situated at Kabalana beach with a fantastic view over the ocean.
+ very well maintained rooms
+ room service 2x per day
+ very good breakfast, cocktails and dinner
+ friendly and helpful staff
+ massage in the room

Minor negative points:
- no phone in the rooms (to ask for water etc.)
- not enough sun beds for the number of rooms

Haven't been to the hotel itself but it looked absolutely amazing. However, I have been to the beach there and it was surreal. Perfect for surfing, swimming, tanning. I'd definitely stay at the Sandhya based on what I saw and the beach it sits on.
