Villa Kubura is perfect!
We felt like we were in a palace.
Sudath has lovingly and stylishly designed this house. You sleep in large rooms under high ceilings on a wonderfully comfortable bed, the light is indirect and warm, you can see beautiful details everywhere, even the lamps in the bathroom are special! There is a pleasant smell throughout the house, even the floor is incredibly smooth and clean.
The care products are from a natural cosmetics line and smell of cinnamon and neem.
We had dinner at the villa and every single curry was amazing!
If I could give 7 points instead of 5, I wouldn't hesitate and we'll definitely come back!

Every day Sudat adds new dishes, fruits or spices from her garden to the menu.
We really liked how the hosts successfully adapt the local forge to the preferences of their guests,
Nowhere have we eaten such wonderful curry, which they serve with eight types of side dishes at the same time - from fried eggplant in mango chutney to pickled mushrooms.
For dessert, a wonderful brownie with ice cream!

What else is important for a tourist from a metropolis:
Peace and relaxing atmosphere, silence and well-groomed territory. This is not the best place for children or noisy groups. But in order to reboot your brain, reading or writing a long-desired book in silence is ideal.
Service of the highest level. They organized a separate Wi-Fi for us by the pool, drinks appeared at the sun lounger without a reminder, the rooms were cleaned daily.
We didn’t have to worry about exchanging money, renting a scooter, or getting beach towels - Sudat speaks excellent English or uses Google translator, he organizes everything instantly and advises everything. He taught us how to bargain with sellers and guided us on prices so that we would not overpay for local goods and souvenirs:)
He is not only a passionate professional, but also a collector of antiques and furniture, so his villa is filled with special charm and thoughtful design.
This is a cool place for photo shoots.
In this home, every guest feels unique and welcome. We will come back here and relax our souls in a family atmosphere and tranquility.

When will you be able to sleep? Terrible music! 0-30 AM! Don't expect a quiet relaxing holiday in this villa.

Villa kumbura is located in the middle of a paddy field with a fabulous view. This place is so calm and clean. The food is so delicious. Highly recommended.

Villa Kubura” is a Traditional Sri Lankan house located on shores of Kubura. “Kubura“is the Sinhala meaning of paddy field which acts the main role in Sri Lankan culture. The villa front is a kubura which runs far and make you feel you are in front of green velvet.

Villa Kubura has four luxury large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. The bedrooms, lobby, sitting area and the balcony is equipped with traditional Sri Lankan furniture and even the statues and wall hangings though decades old. Bathrooms have amenities extracted by Sri Lankan herbs.

The pool is designed according to the ancient Sri Lankan structure of Kings Bath which is called “pokuna” with pavilion.

The villa is set around green fields or rice, surrounded by tropical forrest. With only 4 rooms, the owner - a warm and very kind personality - really looks after you, to make sure you’re happy. Rooms are big and spotless and all the outside areas - garden, swimming pool, restaurant - are very convenient. Nice walking tracks!
