Villa Raphael - Ayurveda-Resort

Beautiful resort with a highly competent Axurveda team, yoga teacher and doctor. Exceptional and individual service in an art-loving ambience. Sri Lankan hospitality and Ayurveda at its best. The location on the lagoon, not directly but close enough to the beach, completes the picture and creates ideal conditions for healing, purification and enjoyment.

At the turn of the year I spent almost 10 days in the Villa Raphael and was very enthusiastic. The villa is in a really fantastic location. The lounge directly at the lake offers a lot of peace and space. The pool invites you to swim; the spacious green area to linger. The food is excellent and is always freshly prepared. The doctor is very knowledgeable and takes his time. The therapists do a great job that has an immediate effect. The beach can be easily reached in 10 minutes. There is always someone from the villa to help organize excursions.
It was just a wonderful stay all round. I am very happy to have been there!

I have been traveling all over Asia for many years. This house easily holds with the best 5 star hotels I have seen. From the generosity of the rooms over the beautiful large pool to the excellent service of the staff. The kitchen is excellent, healthy and varied.

The long lonely beaches of the region are easy accessible with a 10min Tuk Tuk ride (2 €). We were almost every day in the evening an hour on the beach to walk.

The Ayurveda treatments really deserve this name. All applications last the entire morning. In addition to the doctors' recommendations, individual wishes were also considered. We had the opportunity to look at the practice of the medical team and could convince ourselves of a "real" Ayurvedic practice with an affiliated pharmacy.

We can warmly recommend the Villa Raphael both for a cure as well as for a relaxing holiday.
