Good place! If you want to make vocation in quite place, you can stay here. Hosts are very friendly and help for us. All worked, everywhere clean.
I stay here 4 days.

Pretty cool old fashion colonial main house and some rooms around in same area.

Lovely stay at Walauwa The Villa Ahungalla!

We stay almost 12 days at this beautiful place. Walauwa Family are super friendly and make our stay as best as it could be.
Day there starts with a perfect breakfast, than you can decide to go to the beach or relax at the near hotel's pool for a small charge. Walauwa Family gives you also perfect information's where to go for dinner and what you can do in Ahungalla. Also arranged a 2 days Round tour around Sri Lanka and fantastic.
Garden is fabulous and rooms are very comfortable, huge, clean, all facilities and always you have your own freedom and privacy. Would like to recommend to anyone.

Krásný pobyt ve Walauwa The Villa Ahungalla!

Na tomto krásném místě zůstáváme téměř 12 dní. Rodina Walauwa je velmi přátelská a dělá náš pobyt co nejlepší.
Den začíná perfektní snídaní, než se můžete rozhodnout jít na pláž nebo si odpočinout v nedalekém hotelovém bazénu za malý poplatek. Rodina Walauwa vám také poskytne dokonalé informace o tom, kam jít na večeři a co můžete udělat v Ahungalle. Také zařídil 2denní okružní turné po Srí Lance a fantastické.
Zahrada je báječná a pokoje jsou velmi pohodlné, obrovské, čisté, všechna zařízení a vždy máte svou vlastní svobodu a soukromí. Chtěl bych doporučit každému.

A perfect place to relax with full of nature & wildlife near the ocean!

Walauwa The Villa Ahungalla is really a hidden gem in Sri Lanka! We really enjoyed our stay with full of happiness. We selected Walauwa Villa for 18 nights because of positive reviews and recommended by my friend in my university. If you are looking a place away from the busy cities and tourists crowds to relax with nature, this is the ideal place for that. Also beach is very beautiful and calm and not touristic. You will feel you are living in your own home. Walauwa Family is so kind and helpful. You will get a authentic Sri Lankan experience, sure! See you soon guys, Lisa from Germany.

We stayed here two weeks. Walauwa Family offer great hospitality. Breakfast included so many fruits and everything you need in the morning. Hotel has very nice location with full of nature, flowers, birds, animals and exotic. Rooms are big and comfortable. If you need anything owner of Walauwa can arrange it!

Zůstali jsme tady dva týdny. Rodina Walauwa nabízí velkou pohostinnost. Snídaně obsahovala tolik ovoce a vše, co potřebujete ráno. Hotel má velmi pěknou polohu plnou přírody, květin, ptáků, zvířat a exotických. Pokoje jsou velké a pohodlné. Pokud potřebujete něco, majitel Walauwa to zařídí!

We had an amazing 10 days in this lovely tropical retreat. Outstanding hospitality from owners and take care of us like a one family. Rooms are huge, clean, comfortable and have every facilities you need. Tropical garden is gorgeous and good for all nature lovers. You can enjoy garden views from private veranda. Dinner, breakfast and food all were very delicious and super. Real Sri lankan experience with a lovely family. We are from Germany and would like to book this place by closing your eyes.
