I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Julia Siriwardena, for making my wedding day so special. Julia transformed me into a stunning and elegant bride. Her makeup skills were exceptional, as it stayed flawless throughout the entire day without needing any touch-ups. What sets Julia apart is her ability to create a unique and personalized look for each bride. In addition, the bridesmaids' dresses she worked on were equally stunning, and she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. Her work is also incredibly neat and clear.

First of all, I would like to thank and appreciate Julia for her natural looking makeup and hairdo on my wedding day. This is exactly what I wanted to get accomplished.

Customer is the sinew of any business and therefore they should be respected by performing a satisfactory service for which they have heavily paid for. I would never recommend Julia’s Closet to anyone due to the following points.

Julia should practice managing time. I was asked to come to the salon at 1am but she came to the salon at 1.40am to dress me up. This is unprofessional and unethical on her part. Because of this 40-minute delay, the photographer only had 30 minutes out of the allocated 1.5-hour time for our photos. Photos are more precious than anything because we treasure them as memories forever. Her delay ruined us being captured vividly.

The flowers in my bouquet were wilted. And all the attached main stems of it ended up in my hands after 4 hours of time.

Should stop letting customers buy materials only from ‘Fabric Gallery’. This made me buy the saree the color of which I really didn’t like at all. And this commission-based business makes customers spend more money on materials than usual

Bride’s choice of colour must be respected when choosing sarees and other materials without regard to the way of satisfying social media audiences with photos of different concepts and ideas.

The bride’s choice of stitching the saree jacket must be respected without indirectly forcing the bride to choose another pattern she doesn’t like at all.

As a woman, I recommend that your bridal look be done not by a female but by a male, because they are genuine and non judgmental in anyway.

There is no standard for their work. They charge high prices without quoting the price before doing any work.

Julia made me a stunning custom made saree and jacket, along with her expertise in choosing matching jewelleries etc. The Saree and whole outfit was beautiful and Truly impressive! Her design, skills and expertise have successfully resulted in a “even better than imagined” perfectness. Julia's level of detail, her brilliant ability had made my special day extraordinary. Best hair dresser in Negombo. They are biy expensive but for special occations its reasonable and they do exactly what you want. Very professional

Very strange! Never gets appointment in this place even if you call three to four days earlier. Reception keeps saying Samit is busy sorry! When I requested, can I talk to Samit? She says he is busy left my number and requested a call back, never received! I have never seen any salon that you don't get appointment when you call two to three days in advance!

Bridal makeup was fine and so were the maids’. What I didn’t like was her (and crew’s) unprofessional attitude during the initial sessions and fit-ons. It felt like body shaming. Please be more tactful in such cases. I felt very bad for my maids who took their time off to come to these sessions only to be mocked for not having a perfect figure. Due to this reason I do not recommend.

My wedding was on the 29th of August 2020 and I did the hair and makeup and the fresh bouquets from Julia akki.
Julia akki is an amazing lady who takes an extra mile to make the client happy. Among bridal artists who wants their ideas to be done, Julia akki is someone who listens to the customer very carefully and gives her maximum to do that.
Her natural looking makeup and the fresh flowers bouquets for me and my crew are more than what I expected, it was so glamorous yet simple which I personally wanted.
If someone who wants their wedding to be done in a very elegant way here is your place. I’m above and beyond happy for her work.

One of my friend chose this place for her big day.

Due to a budget restriction my friend decided to only do make up and hair from here. Their attitude is different when you are not getting the entire thing from them.

Happy with bride’s make up. Bride maid’s make up was done by the additional staff and its sub par. Bride’s maids ended up doing their own make up afterwards.

When the best men and bride maids wanted a retouch after the photoshoot they refused to do so, not even groom’s. However they did bride’s ones.

Nice cosy place. I have seen brides being dressed beautifully. Expensive. Storefront parking available for about 4 vehicles.

Highly recomend this place. Thank you soo much for making me a beautiful bride on my wedding day and I got so many compliments on that day.
