My girlfriend and I had one of the best trips of our lifes due to the great material (tuktuk) and service provided by these brothers.

Everything was arranged smoothly upfront via WhatsApp (including Sri Lankan driver licences). Furthermore, the tuktuk worked very smoothly. Finally, the only time we had an issue with the tuktuk, the problem was directly solved at one of the service stations.

I came at the beginning of the week and asked if it would be possible to rent a bike for the weekend, to which the owner replied, write to WhatsApp closer to the weekend. I wrote to him on Friday and said that there were no bikes available and I had to book. Don't take his word for it

We hired a Tuktuk for a week and were so happy we picked shanetours. They were so helpful and professional. They organised our licenses to drive in Sri Lanka before we arrived and helped us learn to drive the tuktuk. If we had any problems we could contact the two brothers by WhatsApp but we never had any issues ;)
We had the best time driving around exploring Sri Lanka and we will definitely go back and hire a tuktuk here again.

We got stopped by the police twice but thanks to all the paperwork organised by shanetours, we had no problems.

In the end we decided we didn’t have enough time to drive back to Negombo as we wanted to relax by the beach for a few days before back to reality, and they came and picked up the tuktuk from Mirissa and were so helpful.

We were more than satisfied. We were helped with every problem. Everything was uncomplicated and we would rent our tuk tuk from Shanetours again and again. The tuk tuk was in great condition so that we didn't have a single problem over 1000 km. Thank you for everything and see you next time.

Good place to rent a scooter or tuk-tuk. The owner will advise and help you with the route. Prices very competitive.

When the turn signal turns, a loud signal sounds, which is very useful for Sri Lanka.
There is USB charging. Trunk light. Mount for gopro. And even a spare variator belt.
And the owner is very positive and responsive. I highly recommend it.

Genuinely a fantastic experience using this family business. I rented a bike for 3 months to tour the island and not only was the bike itself brilliant (low mileage, extremely well maintained and in absolutely perfect working order) but Shane and his family made the experience all the better by sincerely caring about me having a good time in the country. He was always on hand with immediate replies via WhatsApp if I needed anything and case in point being that I got a puncture in a rural area that required a new tyre. I was overcharged by the repair man but Shane without a second thought offered to cover the additional amount the man was charging. Just bringing the bike back and chatting with Shane and his dad in their shop/garage is a pleasant experience and indicative of the overall theme of renting with them. For anyone reading this, considering using their services - give it no extra thought and do it immediately. You’ll be beyond happy with using them. 10/10!

Very high quality service, trouble free motorcycle. For 1 month I traveled close to 1500 km without the slightest problem. I will rent it again for 1 month. In my opinion the best motorcycle rental company in Negombo. Thanks for everything

Just completed a month long holiday around the whole island of Sri Lanka. We hired 4 scooters from shanetours and they were perfect. The bikes were almost brand new and were very reliable. The owners of shanetours were very professional and easy to deal with, they even sorted us out with a Sri Lankan drivers licence before we arrived which was really convenient. Would definatley recommend shanetours and will be using them again if we ever return.

Best rental experience I've ever had. The owner (Amila) supported me even during my trip when I had a flat tire. He organized the driver permit within a few hours for little money. The scooter was under the best condition and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend this place!

Amazing experience with renting a tuktuk with Shane Tours! We were 3 people coming from France and India and cannot recommend Amila and his father more. Finding information on internet about renting a tuktuk in Sri Lanka is not easy, a lot of contradictory information… Amila arranged a temporary international driving licence, covered us with a very affordable insurance and helped us have a blast during these 10 days driving around Sri Lanka.

Best place to rent a big bike for a trip across Sri Lanka. Really attentive service and all round friendly. When we had an issue with the bike, Shane rode down the same day to meet us with a replacement to ensure we were back on schedule.

We rented two scooters for a period of 3 weeks, TVS ntorq 125, quite popular model in Sri Lanka and they sustained the travel quite well. Smooth ride on both plains and mountains.

We are planning a trip to Sri Lanka.

We had a wonderful time in our TukTuk. We rented it for 19 days and had no trouble at all. Once you have learned how to drive it and adapted to the Sri Lankan trafic, it is a blast. Shanetours176 was always ready to help and answer the questions over whatsapp. Easy to recommend this family owned business. Great value!

Rented 3 Honda XR250 for the road trip around the island. Could not be happier with the service. The bikes were perfect, there were few minor breakdowns, but Shane helped us all the way through arranging mechanics in the immediate vicinity, was a seamless experience. Great company, if you want to self drive any transport in Sri Lanka look no further, they have very competitive rates, will help you at every stage and customer service is sublime.

We rented a dirtbike for three weeks and it was the best choice we could've made. If you pack light it's possible to travel with two on one bike and your luggage as well. Ofcourse if you both have a motorbike driver's licence and are good driver it's even more fun to ride alone (you must be a good driver, traffic is not always easy).
We saw the nicest places and met the friendliest people, quite sure we wouldn't have reached these without travelling on motorbike.
The reason I'm very sure that Shane is a good option is because we also had bike problems twice (which weren't our fault) : Shane was always easy to reach, trying to help us from a distance, arranging prices on the phone and immediately offered to pay everything when we would get back to the office (which he did). We had very different experiences in other countries, so we were very happy with his approach. To compensate our trouble he even gave us a free ride to the airport when we needed to get back. He was very friendly and helpful all the time.
