Very bad service:

We booked the hotel months ago for our last days and were told when we arrived that the room had been overbooked. We received no compensation and ended up being kicked out.

I have never experienced something like that!

Hotel overbooked. No information in advance, no help to find other suitable hotels.
Very unpolite behavior.

Unpleasant Experience, Not Recommended

I had a highly disappointing experience with this hotel. One week before our planned stay, they abruptly canceled our reservation and insisted on full payment in advance.

Upon arrival, we found the location isolated with muddy roads, making access difficult. Very important is that not all the rooms have direct beach access, most of them are over the road, in the booking wasn’t mentioned. The only dining option was their expensive restaurant, leaving guests with limited choices. The pool was in poor condition, with green water, and the rooms had a noticeable moldy smell.

To top it off, the staff exhibited rudeness, adding to the overall unpleasant atmosphere. I strongly advise against booking here to avoid wasting your money on a subpar and unwelcoming experience. You can find way better accommodations around.

Really bad experience. First they cancelled our booking reservation. We were forced to make a separate reservation with them. When we arrived at the location, the rooms were not clean and were smelly and we realized that the villas they forced us to take dis not have direct beach access, only the studios did. The access road is really muddy, so we would be stuck at the location, without direct access to the beach. On top of it all, the manager and staff were arrogant, worse attitude we encountered at any hotel so far. We ended up giving up on the advance payment we had made to them directly and going to another location.

We booked a romantic private villa with its own pool for 3 nights. We had the choice to pick between 2 villas and both of them were great! The infrastructure is modern and cozy.
The whole staff is extremely nice and there was a free yoga session with the owner every morning at 8. Breakfast was included, and it was tasty. I would recommend to try the Sri lanka breakfast because it was delicious! The beach is clear blue and clean. Also, we did see monkeys from our open shower:) At the last day, the staff surprised us with a romantic dinner on the beach with complementary drinks and a desert. The only downside is that the place is quite far out of everything. It was extremely nice to stay there and I would recommend everyone to visit this place as I can talk about how great it is for hours:)

The perfect hotel for your detox from the word (though Wi-Fi is excellent here). It's located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. You have a good bar and a nice restaurant onsite.   We could have stayed for ages here in the sunbeds and by the pool. The super friendly dogs and the heartwarming owners make this stay perfect.

We had the most amazing week here at Good Karma hotel in Tangalle. They offer a yoga class every morning with a great instructor in a beautiful outdoor studio surrounded by lush green trees. They offer great massage and spa too.we took the apartment and it was perfect. Spacious rooms and the cleaning staff did a lovely job every day keeping it nice for us. Akila, the manager of the hotel was awesome. He welcomes you and is so informative about everything. The hotel can sort tours for you with lovely drivers. We recommend Sadun! He is awesome for the trips. We received a nice welcome juice and the lovely groundsmen room all our luggage. Breakfast is delicious with fresh fruit every day and you can pick between Sri Lankan breakfast, eggs, granola etc.dinner was always lovely and the guys working at the bar and restaurant are great. On our last night we got a private dinner on the beach with fire sticks. It was beautiful and I felt so sad leaving. We will back back. Thanks team!

An unforgettable holiday. The hotel is located on a quiet beach without people. Quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are large, clean. The staff is nice and attentive. The food was excellent. They offer also lot of ayurvedic treatment and yoga. Possibility of trips around the area. Ask at the reception.
And the top of our stay was birth of turtles on the beach. We helped put them in the ocean. Unforgettable experience!

The room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfasts with ocean view were excellent, they have a very good coffee. There was almost no people on the beach, even though the hotel was fully booked it was quiet, calm and intimate. Perfect relax atmosphere. The swimming pool was very clean and the water was pleasantly warm. I really liked the place, and I would book again.

On Booking it says that the hotel participates in "Travel Sustainable Level 3" programe, but it is still using single-use shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles, and I didn't see recycling bins available to guests: (This is something the hotel needs to work on.

Calm, peaceful, perfect service
We booked Romantic Villa with private swimming pool and were completely satisfied with our choice, everything is like on the photo and even better. Perfect for romantic weekend, long stay or to stay away from hustle and bustle
Cozy Bali-style furniture, hot water, all the amenities (kitchen, fridge, wardrobe, sun beds with umbrella). Nice green area, wide deserted beach. Spa and morning yoga. Good quality of food (we had tuna steak and pasta for dinner and some desserts) I’m impressed with the quality of service, the best I’ve seen in Sri Lanka, everything is unobtrusively, kindly
The attention is feeling in every detail.
