Into The Blue Sri Lanka

We found this place by incident and fell instantly in love. It lies in the jungle so it is very calm and you just hear the noises of the nature.
Despite that it is in walking distance to the most beautiful beaches - and the aren’t already crowded as some others.

Mahalia and her team is so friendly. They will help you with everything. And the complementary yoga class in the morning will make a perfect start in the day.

Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night in the “Island Cottage” because the other nights were already fully booked.
Nevertheless, we had a really nice stay and would book a room at Into the Blue again at any time.
The room was very clean.
In general it is very quiet there between the many plants and we were able to enjoy our stay very much.
With the yoga class and meditation in the morning, I was able to start the day in a super relaxed way.
Afterwards there was a very tasty breakfast (porridge with fresh fruit) and tea with honey.
We can definitely recommend this accommodation.
The staff and the yoga/meditation teachers were also really friendly and put in a lot of effort.

The nearby Paradise beach and the bar there were also a highlight of our vacation.

I had a wonderful time at Into the Blue. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful and the location is a fantastic off-the-beaten-path gem with luxurious flora and fauna. You can spot colorful birds, monkeys and giant squirrels while chilling on the property. Will definitely go back.

Into the blue is such a wonderful space, we felt very at home and welcomed by the hosts, set in a beautiful private jungle we really felt absorbed by the surroundings, the cabins are very cosy and the design is lovely, beach just a few mins walk with crystal clear water and good surf, and not too crowded, great breakfasts provided in the mornings and lots of great food options near by, we would very much recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back - best spot in Sri Lanka - thankyou so much for being so amazing!

Intotheblue is a paradise in paradise! Excellent accommodation and very well managed, very comfortable! The magic of the jungle and 10 minutes from fantastic beaches. Mahalia and Sanka made me feel at home, they are lovely and always caring. I would recommend it without hesitation, looking forward to coming back!

I’ve just spend 5 amazing days at Into The Blue.

Sanka is by far the best host I have ever experienced in my many years of traveling. He is so kind and considerate and always smiling. Nothing is too much!

I was working remotely and the jungle garden quickly became my new office. I loved sitting there after the morning yoga class and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

I even had the pleasure of having dinner together with some of the other guests one evening. Sanka made a wonderful curry with fresh ingredients from the garden. We sat in the garden for hours talking and laughing - it was such a perfect evening.

In the morning I would have the pleasure of joining Emma’s yoga classes. She was the sweetest and most welcoming person - always so helpful! She even made me this wonderful smoothie bowl one morning.

So thank you, Sanka and Emma. My stay would not have been the same without your company.

This place is magical.after arriving from Ella, we were greeted by Sanka in his tropical jungle,
It was so peaceful and sounds of the surrounding wildlife were so wonderful.

Sanka told us a little about that nearby beaches and recommended his family run restaurant down the road for dinner - which is also highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of yoga with Emma most mornings which was the best way to wake up and the beaches that were a short walking distance were some of the best I’ve ever been too.

We would highly recommended this place and will hopefully be returning.

I find no words to describe this place fully. IT - IS - JUST - BEAUTIFUL! Sanke and Mahalia builded a paradise in the Jungle with lots of Love. When I arrived I was flashed by the beautiful and inspiring atmosphere the two create. Thanks to all the trees and plants around you, you‘ll find the perfect climate. It is always a bit cooler than outside the jungle which feels so relaxing and refreshing -especially on very hot days. And it is Perfect to start your day with some yoga. The cabanas are Breath taking and perfectly designed - everything integrates itself into the nature.
Sanke and Mahalia give you Great tips of what to do in the village and around it. The beaches can be reached within 10-15 minutes.

If you need some time to gain some energy, good sleep and great food you should definitely visit these beautiful people!:)

This is the most beautiful place I have been to in Sri Lanka. It is hard to find words for this amazing place. You will quickly feel like home and don't want to leave. The temperature is refreshing thanks to the nice trees of the jungle, you wake up with the sound of the birds, can do some Yoga under the trees and maybe you can watch some monkeys playing in the Jackfruit trees while you enjoy your amazing breakfast. You have some of the most beautiful beaches in walking distance which are not very touristic (sometimes you even have a beach for yourself). Sanke is an amazing cook - you should not miss his seafood! If you want to learn surfing, go snorkeling, do a day trip with the scooter, enjoy the beautiful sunset at the Rocktemple.everything is possible from there. But the most beautiful thing is the atmosphere of this place, created with so much love and passion by Sanke and Mahalia. You cannot do anything wrong with staying at into the blue! <3

Mahalia and Sanka are so kind people, so friendly and helpful with everything. The are very attentifly to anything what you ask or need during your stay. The place is great, very quite with birds singing around and monkeys on the trees. The near beaches are so nie and colorful. One of it is very calm, just the right one to lesen surfing. We have realy enjoid our time on this place and will come back definitly. Looking forward to it.

The home away from home - my most beautiful, beloved accommodation in Sri Lanka. <br/>Lovely hosts and beautiful cottages nestling between an amazing jungle garden from where you can visit empty beaches with great surf, turtles and enjoy spots which is still undiscovered.

Into The Blue is a beautiful to stay. Mahalia and Sanka are lovely hosts who build huge Cabanas in a beautiful garden. You can walk to pictures beaches and surf spots. Into The Blue is a quiet place with a lovely vibe. I really enjoyed my time here.
