Just go for it! What an amazing experience. The guide is super helpful and speaks good English. If you go early in the morning you can see a lot of species of birds! The lake is beautiful and is an adventure for such a cheap price. One of the best things to do around.

We had an amazing time doing a kayak tour of the lagoon with a guide. I highly recommend going with a guide as they take you to hidden areas and know where the most incredible birds are! We saw water monitors, loads of birds including eagles, kingfishers, herons and cormorants. We even got to watch local fishermen catching fish by hand. Our guide had amazing knowledge and enthusiasm for the mangroves and was so kind and friendly. This is a peaceful and nature-friendly activity, with no motorised bits to scare the animals away! Definitely do it! Very good value for money too - he only charged 1000 rupees each but this tour is worth so so much more!

Awesome experience at kayaking kingdom Thangalle. Very supportive coaches and guide. We felt very safe under their guidance even though it was our first kayaking experience. Beautiful scenery.

It is highly recommended to do the kayak tour in the lagoon! We wanted to start early in the morning and the owner already expected us. Because of the current towards the sea he guided us. The tour took around 1 h 20min and we saw a lot of birds, varans and monkeys. We had a great time and for sure we would do it again! Fair price.
