Restaurant of Ibis Guesthouse

Great place to stay in Tangalle. Beautiful setting right by the ocean with its own private patch of beach. Good Wi-Fi in the common area (but not in the room), very friendly staff, nice breakfast at very good prices. One thing we loved was having a gym - a great way to start your day by the ocean!

The location is quite ok, we stayed overnight in a 3 bed room because the bungalows were fully booked.we were shocked by the prices on the menu.cup of hot water 150 rupees, jug of hot water 350 rupees, small soda 390 rupees.that's quite steep.we went out for dinner, also for breakfast.there is no driver accommodation either, which is certainly offered elsewhere in Sri Lanka, I wouldn't stay at the Ibis Beach again Stay in a bungalow in Tangalle

I stayed in Sri Lanka for a month but nowhere else have I eaten such well-prepared shrimps as here. Delicious. I recommend!

Very quiet place for relax. Rooms are clean and ok for best price. Personnel and owner of this accommodation are very kind group of people. Do not hesitate to spend some time with them. Breakfasts are really big, internet connection is ok for remote work (right at the beach!). Also they have small houses at the beach, where is possible to sleep over night - right next to the ocean, just listening waves and observing night life at the beach when tourists are gone, amazing!

Great place with a great people! I truly recommend this place for stay in Tangalle.
