We had such a wonderful stay, feel right at home. Excellent staff, rooms were so spacious and clean. Bathrooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The manger and staff was always friendly and accommodating. Authentic sri lankan food was delicious. Next time we were staying at the same place.

I came to Tissa to go on a safari and stayed in the hotel for a night. The contrast with my permanent hotel, where i was staying during my holiday, is striking. River face inn is a beautiful building, surrounded by local trees with monkeys jumping right in front of your eyes. The street is pretty quiet, so you can sleep peacefully, but 5 minutes on foot there's another street where you can find some shops and cafes- rather convenient. The room is just perfect, a huge comfortable bed with a mosquito net on top, the bathroom is nice with fresh towels and hot water. In the room there's also a special shelf to hang or dry things, a mirror with a chair and a special sitting table to put on footwear. But the most important thing is, of course, the people. After a long bus trip i was offered a welcome drink, tea with some cookies, everybody was polite, friendly and helpful. As there are not many rooms in the hotel, the owners manage to give attention and care to every visitor. The personnel also helped me arrange the safari for the next day, and i was seen off and sat in a jeep by one of the family members at 4 o'clock in the morning, so you don't feel lonely and scared alone in the street) I highly recommend this hotel to everyone, who seeks comfort, sincere care and affordable price - all in one place. The owner and the staff were very welcoming. The view of the lake was amazing. Spotlessly clean and great location. Delicious food.

This place is amazing, the accomadation facilities, cuisine are more than great and staff are very nice and friendly and we had a great time over there.

I stayed in a family room. Air conditioned room. We were 5 people. Room was good. Washing area and toilet were separated. There is a mirror at the outside of the bathroom. It's really good since we can use it freely. No need to wait till others are using the bathroom.
I went there at rainy season. Therefore few mosquitoes were their. This is good for budget stay. Value to money.

Beautiful guesthouse by the river, where one can find a lot of turtles, which is specially nice for the children. Nice and clean rooms with great view to the garden. Kind and helpfull staff. We also recommend food, it is delicious and if you ask for non spicy food, you will actually get non spicy food.

Very nice staff, good food especially the breakfast. The rooms were presented very nicely and came with mosquito repellent plugged in and ready to go.
