Sati Villa Rekawa Beach Sri Lanka

Super peaceful location, great design spacious, clean rooms and attached bathrooms with all the required facilities, good choice and tasty food, nice pool to cool off and above all the friendly staff and efficient service made our holiday really worth while The Villa is easy to find on maps and get to. It is no more than 20minutes once you get off the expressway at Bedigama. The beach was good with not many people and no vendors. Seeing the Turtles come ashore at night to lay eggs and get back was a first and special experience and Kayaking on the lagoon and seeing the area from the water was nice. I was fortunate to spend 4 nights at Sati Villa Rekawa Beach from 29 March - 2 April 2023. The accommodation was outstanding. 3 spacious bedrooms, large open plan dining and sitting area. All rooms have sea views and en suite bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire villa was kept clean throughout our stay. The private pool is great for both kids and adults and the huge gardens are ideal for those wishing to catch a few rays.

The villa’s location is exceptional. Nestled between Rekawa lagoon, where you can go and experience Kayaking, and the Rekawa beach where by day you can take walks up and down the majestic shoreline and by night you can watch giant turtles laying their eggs.

The villa even has its own Tuk Tuk, making taking trips to the local area very easy. The town of Tangalle is a 20 minute drive away, where you can go shopping and visit other beaches etc.

Sisira, the personal butler, was extremely attentive and ensured all our requests were handled immediately and took care of everything, so we could just focus on enjoying ourselves.

Kumara, the in-house chef, provided us with 3 delectable home cooked daily meals that enabled us to enjoy so many authentic Sri Lankan dishes. I’ve visited Sri Lanka around 10 times and I’m a big fan of Sri Lankan food, but Kumara’s cooking is in a league of its own, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! He is even a qualified masseuse…I took the 1 hour full body massage, which was amazing!

I found the hosts really easy to contact and deal with both before and during our stay. I highly recommend Sati Villa Rekawa Beach for couples, families and groups.
