D'Villa Guest House

D'Villa is a place I discovered by accident during my trip to Jaffna, Srilanka. It's a small family owned place. It's very homely with a cheerful and helpful English speaking host.
Rooms are very clean, comfortable, with A/C, Ceiling fan, shower with hot & cold running water. Situated in a quiet lane, away from noise and traffic, yet close to everything. Ideal place for tourists and foreign backpackers to Jaffna. Would Highly recommend.

The owner of this guest house is a very friendly and kind person who can speak Sinhala, Tamil and English. The food and drinks here were very tasty and clean. It was easy to visit the important places because it is close to Jaffna city. The house keeping service is very good.

Perfect location, very clean, staff very professional as well as friendly, great breakfast, internet that actually works, great value for money! Very close to city centre as well as a great BBQ place super market and liquor store. Definitely go there!

Lovely Guest House a little outside of Jaffna‘s city center in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious and provided fan and AC. The breakfast was both times delicious! Thank you and we’ll be back:)

This is a guest house located bit away from Jaffna Core and an ideal place for a peaceful stay. The rooms were clean and staff were really helpful. If you are looking for a place in Jaffna in quality with little quantity to spend, you can always select the place as a choice.

Really great stay! Dilan and his family are very nice! He organized for us a beautiful tour of Jaffna and the islands near by.
Moreover the room is nice, good bed and working air con.
I will come back!

Cozy little guest house. The rooms are simple, but clean and have all the conveniences (a/c, hot water, WiFi). There is a sizable sitting area, fridge, free tea/coffee. Definitely a good value for the money. Very kind and hospitable owner who went out of his way (sometimes quite literally) to accommodate my requests.

Highly recommended place if you want to visit Jaffna by staying at a guest house. Cheap prices and services worth more than the prices. Very well supported by the owner, Mr. Dilan and his father also. Everything can be discussed and arranged. Had a fantastic time there. He arranged a scooter for me and it cost me only rental price because Mr. Dilan gave us a tour plan also. Rooms have TV, fan, AC and attached bathrooms. Most important thing was rooms are very neat and tidy. Quite and relaxing place even railway path is very close by. No language problems as Mr. Dilan can speak Tamil, Sinhala and English very fluently. Just try this place! It'll be a advantage for your tour. If I again visiting Jaffna this will be my preferred staying place for sure. Thank you Mr. Dilan and D'Villa Guest House!

Stayed for two nights. Super friendly owner, owners father that helps out and the cleaning lady also super friendly. The room was totally okay for the price. Well cleaned and no insects. Had an AC and a fan. The breakfast where good. The ow we helped us arrange a city tour with TukTuk for a very cheap price, a must if you visit Jaffna.

We had a wonderful stay at D'Villa and Dilan is a humble and nice host he take care for you and we had a stay like our house since it's not a crowded place and we can live on our space.all bedroom we stayed equiped with AC, Attached bathroom, TV and Wifi. Dilan also can speak Sinhala/English if you want he will arrange you some tuk tuk.

It's a very peaceful guest house. It was open three years ago and still looking fresh and new. It is surrounded by decent people. The people who work therle are friendly to customers. It's a nice place to stay and their rates are moderate.

Comfortable rooms with all the basic facilities. Good management. Mr Dilan the authority is very polite, humble and very helpful. Nice place to stay.
