We had to wait 20 minutes for the first selection of foods, but we also had to wait for than half an hour for chips that were really salty. The place was pretty empty and was very poor on cleaning. The other foods were also very bad.

Booked A/C family room, got a room with a broken A/C, rooms were not clean. Plug points were broken. Not able to charge! Poorly maintained.

I can't recommend to anyone. This was a very good hotel sometimes back. But now very poor at all.

Hotel receptionist man was very rude. Hot water not working. They change my room but same problem hot water not working. 5am I the morning Jim called the reception no answer. So I have to have cold shower.the breakfast very late. They are bringing one by one then no spoons. They all running like headless chicken. It's one man to get it right but each look each other and wait. Air conditioning making lot of noise.overall it sad hotel.

PLEASE DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE FOR FOOD!

The charges are very high and charge for AC as well but the AC is not even working. The food was average when compared to normal street vendors. They don't accept AMEX.the washrooms are average. The plates and cutlery were smelling like rotten fish.

No tv no wifi AC not working properly an absolute junk the only positive thing is the hotel is situated in the main city area

I went here about 5 years ago and the food was pretty amazing. Sad to say the standards have dropped a fair way. Can not comment on the accommodation as I have never stayed here. Rating is for the food

We had a stopover here for lunch. Small dining room is available and quality of the food served was not upto the mark. Hardly having any parking space. I am not sure of the other facilities.

Used to be a very popular place. But these days its being refurbished and not having the best atmosphere of a hotel. But located in the heart of the town is the biggest advantage for those who stay there to move around very easily

Clean rooms and good food but needs maintenance. Bathroom is acceptable but we were greeted with cockroach when we initially entered the room. No towels provided. Good for budget or backpackers stay. Acceptable for the price we paid.

Probably one of the oldest hotel in Jaffna town, improved much over the years since I stayed there for a week in 1978.

Offering standard services to travellers exploring the Northern peninsula, it is located in the town centre of Jaffna. The restaurant is a fine venue to enjoy some of the best Jaffna cuisine while the hotel also boasts of conference facilities and a hall too.

Simple hotel. Bathrooms not maintained properly. Fittings are old and worn out. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Rooms are bit basic. Towels are not provided. No floor mat outside bathroom. Telephone is not working. Location wise it is next to all the places and walking distance that's the advantage on it. Very friendly staff. For budget stay I will recommend. Tea is provided in morning.

Gnanams special fried rice is best. But they take too much time for preparation. You have to wait more than 20min for your meals. Dining place is not that much attractive. No comfortable chairs even.

Spacious and good ambience. Came as part of a large tour group and we had leased up pretty much the complete hotel. Food was different from traditional south indian food and was acceptable quality. Bathroom did not have buckets, which are usually available in small hotels in South India. Rooms did not have blankets, but air conditioning worked quite well.

It's an alright place to relax with 5-8 people. No disturbance. Food is average. Accommodation is average.

Centrally located in the city of Jaffna. Rooms are bit smaller with average service & facilities. If you look for economical & convenient hotel this a good option but not for comfort & luxury. It offer family rooms for 5 people at cheap rates.

The group of people who work in the hotel, from the first to the last are wonderful, always attentive and willing to help, always with joy. It is the most valuable thing about this hotel. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of the city, close to everything you need and some of the most central tourist spots. The room was very good, clean, and has everything to be comfortable during your stay. To improve, the soundproofing, the Wi-Fi, which did not work, and the maintenance of the facilities. It has been a comfortable stay, I recommend staying at this hotel, you feel at home. And it's safe too.

Good place to stay with family. Old hotel & need some improvement. Price is reasonable.

Nice place to be with friend or lover.foods are good and price also less when compare with other hotel in jaffna.you can drink your own bottel of arak which buy from any other place with their bits
