Who would have thought that a nondescript small restaurant on the ocean shore could compete with fashionable establishments and, with great probability, outshine them. The boss is a young guy who masterfully copes with all sorts of sea creatures, all kinds of armored and unarmored ones, all to the highest rating. You can eat in a restaurant from a very modest amount to 1000 rubles.up to an immodest 3500-4000 rubles, if you want to enjoy lobster, in an amazing sauce, with cabbage salad and potatoes.

We went back 2 evenings in a row because the food was so delicious. Fresh lobster in curry, jumbo shrimp, rice with vegetables, everything was delicious and homemade. Thanks to the boss and his charming waitress for the welcome

My friend and I walked around for a long time in Kalutara looking for a beach front restaurant but could not find any until the tuk rider suggested this place and we were so glad. The atmosphere was very calming and with a very nice view of the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and provided an adequate customer service and they tended to our every need. The food was also terrific and upto standard!

Great location, when we arrived which was early the place was empty and we could sit right on the edge of the beach with the sea only a few meters away. We choose the mixed seafood dish and was extremely delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely evening meal greeted with lovely service and beautiful surroundings. The food was just gorgeous! We left nothing on our plates! It’s food that just kept on giving. Thank you to the staff for this experience ️ highly recommend. We had - seafood soup vegetable noodles Sri Lankan devilled prawns jumbo prawns with fries and coleslaw stunning!

Highly recommend this place! Lovely place on the beach, amazing and yummy seafood, perfect for lunch/dinner with an awesome sunset and the sound of the ocean. Positive and helpful people! Nil is the owner and just a lovely person. Will definitely use him on my next time!

Just had evening meal at the Green Lobster, 'seafood platter for two' Prawns, fish, lobster, calamari and crab plus chips and salad. Absolutely stuffed now, thank you really enjoyed the meal great value lovely family business. Visit a must

Was able to get involved with the collection of fishing which was hard work

Seafood was so fresh, nicely prepared and staff always smiling.

Super family running the place. Our family and kids truly had a good time.

Also need to mention the value for money in these tough times in Sri Lanka.

Wow just wow! Visited this heavenly seafood restaurant last night with my wife just amazing ambience facing a nice view of the sea. The place is next to thuurya hotel wadduwa. We tried jumbo prawns steam rice salads and crab. OMG the food is soo delicious. Highly recommend for foreigners who are in SL to taste Sri Lankan cusine. Highly recommended and speacial thanks to the owner Nilantha. Will definitely come again buddy. Cheers!

Green Lobster became a true home and shelter for us during our last visit to Sri Lanka. It’s a family restaurant and Nilantha and his great family are really friendly, open and helpful. I will never forget that tuna stake. It’s the best tuna stake on the Island believe me we’ve spent almost 1,5 month at Ceylon staying at different places. Nilantha’s special sauce definitely deserves an award from somebody like Gordon Ramsay. Just come for the first time and you’ll stay there till the last day of your holiday:)

Superb meal.
I had the crab with prawns, and the home made sauce on it just added that little bit delicious.
Wife had white fish and friends the whole fish.
Again both superb.
