Do Not Stay At This Place - Over Price and Its Not a Hotel or Resort
The place looks weird and its not a hotel or a resort its like a BNB in with over priced rates USD 200 per night which seems to be unacceptable and the place is quiet far from the Kandy town 45 minutes drive with the traffic. We were lost on our day of arrival to find the hotel in a small narrow road which was dark and pity. We were trying to contact the hotel for the location but no one answered the phone for long time, finally a guy answered but the direction he gave was totally wrong and we were on a wrong route, but we manage to find the place after 20 minutes on the same location.
The welcome was ok but we were tired with the long journey we had. The rooms on the main building was looked a house converted to a lodge we met an lady who was the owner of the place but bit disturbing charterer. Only the plus point was the room we stayed which was spacious.
We had no choice on our meals and beverages looked like they have precooked and stocked to serve all the guests the same item. We had waiter served during our stay he was PRADEAP who had no idea on what he was selling and poor in English too. And the price of a beer is 850 srilankan rupees its too high compared with the good hotels we stayed at Sri Lanka even the meals were too expensive for the portion and the items served.
We were inquired about the taxi fair to nuwaraeliya the reception lady offered a double rate from the actual price 14500 srilankan rupees where we found a taxi for just 8000 srilankan rupees. (BE AWARE OF TAXI FARES OFFERED BY THE HOTEL). Next day we asked for a tuk tuk to kandy town which was 5 KM away from the place the price offered was 1000 srilanakan rupees where we found the tuk tuk for just 350 rupees outside from the hotel its looks like the staff keeping a commission to every transport.

Attentive family run hotel offering a degree of privacy for residents, quality spacious rooms, clean swimming pool; transport to and from essential. Reasonable prices during hot season but food is over priced.
Nice, quiet and homely place to totally unwind and rejuvenate. Definitely recommend it for a quiet family vacation in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
Best Boutique hotel in Kandy. Wonderful rooms with Luxury amenities. Reasonable rates. Amazing Indian menus
