CHEATING MONKS.
Difficult to star this place.
Nice place to stay if you travel budget.
Prices increased, the room I stayed in was 700, - LKR, still real cheap for Kandy. But when I came back a week later, the monk tells me he only has double rooms, for 900 LKR, well, OK I'll take it anyway, it's less than 4,50 €. When he shows me the room, it was the same I was in a week before, he tells me that was a mistake, he pointed to the rooms (4 altogether) saying these 2 are 700 these 2 are 900. Then he left. There was only one 700 LKR room occupied, the other 3 were empty. So, why didn't he offer me the remaining 700 LKR room. AND when I looked inside the other rooms, they were to my amazement all identical. I let it go. But still cheating monks, even if it's just 1€ difference, is just sad.
