Ceylon Horse Trails

A wonderful day! The people are very nice, the horses are well trained and are easy to handle even as a beginner. We started as beginners at a walk and were then allowed to trot and canter as the round progressed. The organizer even provided a tuk-tuk to accompany us so that my daughter could take a break every now and then. In addition, beginners are additionally supported/secured with an accompanying person at the beginning if necessary. All in all very professionally organized. I found the website in Germany. There are various locations on Sri Lanka possible, so in the end it's not just about horseback riding, but rather it's also a safari tour through the beautiful Sri Lankan landscape in the best possible way to get around. The children and I were thrilled! 100% recommended!

The Trail Ride was amazing, the horses are healthy and awesome to ride. A great experience for advanced riders or beginners offering trail rides all over Sri Lanka. I highly recommend it:)

Discovering the diversity of Sri Lanka's nature, culture and wildlife on horseback is an amazing experience with Ceylon Horse Trails! I would highly recommend the 13 day trail with knowledgeable and well organized guides, safe transport and excellent accommodations. The horses are in best condition, and the focus is on their well-being. I spent a wonderful time with lovely people who love their country and what they do. Conclusion: it is more than a nice tour and the people give much more than usual tourist information.

Ishan is an excellent guide, horseman and professional. He is also a very good and trusted friend. No visit to Sri Lanka is complete without including Ishan. His knowledge of that beautiful island is invaluable. Top marks! 100% recommended!

Three of us flew to Sri Lanka from Germany with the aim of seeing the country differently. A beautiful landscape and culture.
The trail is very well organised, horses to fall in love with, the food is a feast for the palate and the people are very friendly.
