Danisco Leisure Bunglow

Best place to stay in Kandy. A little bit outside the city in a quiet area. The hosts were amazing. Warm welcome and they cooked for us an unbelievable dinner. Breakfast was also above expectations. The rooms were spotless and so nicely decorated. Big swimming pool outside for good weather is also a plus. The hosts also offered us a nice welcome gift. Really amazing place to stay! I highly recommend!

You feel really in good hands, I can highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, the accommodation is a bit remote (approx. 20-30 minutes by car to the Temple of the Tooth. But it is nice and quiet to sleep at night.

This place is absolutely amazing! Everything is completely new, spotless clean, the pool is huge, the nature around is beautiful. Such a calm and serene atmosphere!
But the best of all were our amazing hosts, they want above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Inoka made some delicious meals for us and we were greeted with smiles every day.
Highly recommended to everyone and we will definitely come back here!

I had a fantastic time at Danisco Leisure Bungalow with my friends. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the large pool was a hit with everyone. It's definitely a great place for families as it's kid-friendly. The hospitality from the staff was exceptional, and the delicious food made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the free calypso music they provided. Special thanks to the staff for their outstanding service!

Great location, new, modern, great pool, but the best thing was simply the people: the host family is incredibly warm, courteous and hospitable. Their hospitality surpassed anything we have experienced in Sri Lanka so far: the hostess's sister kept a seat free at the annual Perahera Festival in Kandy from 7: 00 am. In the afternoon they brought us in through Connection, although everything was actually already full. And then there were sandwiches and coffee that they gave us to take with us. One of the best experiences we have had in the country!

And of particular note is the charming Vijith, who leaves every wish from your lips and is simply the nicest person we have met in Sri Lanka.
Because of him we extended and then spent the next night in Nuwara Eliya in his own homestay, where he drove us 2.5 hours.
In addition, Vijith cooked extremely well, healthy and varied both in Daniscos and in Nuwara Eliya. They also washed, dried and folded all of our laundry. I'm sure I've forgotten something.all in all a dream!

A beautiful and clean accommodation that can hardly be beaten in terms of hospitality! Unfortunately, I spent far too little time in this great place.
The reason I give the location (only) 4 stars is because the accommodation is a bit out of the way. However, a transport service can be organized upon request. And enough food is also provided.

Enjoyed the real natural beauty of the cool hill Country. The cool breeze coming from the front paddy fields, chirping sounds of various birds, local food items as well as other menus, loving hospitality of the hotel management, cozy rooms and the breath taking swimming pool added value to our stay.

We had wonderful experience at the Danisco Leisure Bungalow. Superb location. The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Food varieties are the best feature of this hotel. I highly recommended this hotel for anyone visiting kandy. Thank you very much!
