4 We used derana for a multiple day trip in march 2020 during our short visit to Sri Lanka. They dont deliver what they promise. They vehicle supposed to be a AC vehicle but no AC. So many mechanical problems throughout the trip.
Spoke to customer service agent but they dont take any responsibility or not willing to provide any alternatives.
We really on the name but once they deliver any vehicle they are out of the loop. Extremely bad customer service. Totally abandoned the customers.
They need to inspect their taxi or Van's befoe they offer.
They don't provide what we ask. Asked for a AC bus and they sent a normal bus without AC.
And another time, promised a package and sent a freelance driver who charge a daily fair.
Bad customer service. Sent a old badly kept van for a 12 hour journey, rain water was dripping into the van on the passager side. Derana refused to accept complaint saying there were no complaints before. Refused to look at the images taken of the van. Refused to reduce the fare based on the complaint. Offered a 5% discount on next trip. Claimed they have an option of viewing images of vehicles before booking but only said that after the complaint. Kandy office manageress was very unhelpful, kept saying there's nothing she can do.
