The staff is so friendly and helpful. Just thank you again! The cuisine is just as delicious as anywhere else here in Sri Lanka. Our room was clean, but we have to point out the micro ants that created a funny mini highway in the bathroom. It doesn't bother me personally, but I can well imagine that it's not for some philistine.

Leslie and his family were so kind, welcoming and helpful! The house is a few minutes outside the busy city center, up the hill with a nice view. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, homemade and even with homegrown fruit and veggies. I highly recommend this place! Thank you Leslie & family for the hospitality!

This is one of the exceptional stays I have even experienced. It's really felt like a second home to me. The hosts Mr. Peries, Mrs. Peries and their son Hasitha are probably best hosts you could wish for. I was welcomed and greeted by Hasitha and wanted to make sure that I like/ agree on everything he showed by before I got in to the room. Can't imagine such a personalized and kind service.

Provided a lot of information about the area and what to do and about the local specialties. Room was very clean had provided with every essential thing one required. Never felt this accommodation is run to make profits but 100% think about the guests satisfaction.

Mr. Peris spent more than 2 hours with me experiencing his past experiences with guests from all over the world. Its worthwhile listening to him for those inspirational stories. Hasitha was such a great person with kind heart to check always whether you are happy with everything.

Not to miss the amazing home made food by Mrs. Peiris …The variety of food they sever for meals were unbelievable. The spread, taste and kindness too added to the delicious food they made.

Many nature trails can be made by being here. Abundance of birdlife in the property itself. One will get the best advice about Kandy and the surroundings from Mr. Peiris who is an academic and top-notch state employee. You don’t want to let him go when he starts relating stories.

I could write pages about the complete and outstanding service they provided during my stay. Definetly this is going to be my home away home whenever I come to Kandy.

This place is wonderful, located outside the buzz of Kandy City with the most welcoming and warm hearted hosts. Breakfast is delicious and so was dinner the one night we are there. View and sounds are pure jungle and the message place next door is good and reasonably priced. We loved everything!

HOSPITALITY with capital letters, lovely quiet, spacious and clean place! Excellent breakfast with much from our own garden prepared with love. I would love to come back here.

We stayed one night here and had the best hosts we could imagine! They drove us in the middle of the night with their car to the train station and made a really tasty breakfast.

Wonderful place, and super nice friendly and supportive owners. Good location, nice and clean room, fast wifi connection, delicious breakfast. Definitely highly recommend, and will visit next time.

Excellent location & amenities. Host family is great. They even provided dinner & breakfast on our request. Parking for 2 vehicles is available on the property. Clean rooms & linens. We will visit this place again. If you are a family travelling, this is the place.

I had the opportunity to stay in Hanthana Jungle view Holiday home. It was a great place to have rest and relax, Location is perfect its only a few minutes’ drive from the Kandy city center.place is so windy and owners are really helpful, it’s for me and my family felt home away from home, so clean and well maintained, it’s really valued for money their hospitality was fabulous an amazing. Thank you for the great experience.

Quiet place outside the city center. The host was very welcoming and offered a ride into town.
The rooms were clean and we also had a living room and small community kitchen where you could prepare tea or coffee.
Breakfast was plentiful and great Sri Lankan food!

The host was very forthcoming and even did laundry for us.
All in all great experience, would recommend to everyone for a perfect stay in Kandy!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The family who run it are the most lovely hosts you could wish for and couldn't do enough to make our stay here amazing! Simply awesome home cooked food, clean rooms, nice showers, and plenty of space. Drinking tea on the balcony whilst looking out over the forest during a downpour was spectacular.

This place is the best you can find, don’t hesitate to book! I went back there 3 times during my trip to Sri Lanka. Clean rooms, delicious food, great fast Wi-Fi, and quiet location. But what really made the difference was the extreme kindness of Mr. Peris. He is so nice, funny, caring, absolutely the best ️ It’s a place I will never forget, thank you so much for everything you have done for us!

A beautiful place to stay with friendly hosts, tasty food, tranquil environment. There is big balcony with nice view, equipped kitchen. Everything was great and I stayed here already twice and planning to stay again if visiting Kandy again. The hosting couple are always trying to help the best they can.

It's up the hill and a bit far from center but I personally didn't want to stay in noisy and dirty center of the city.

Home away from home, so much so you may not want to leave, beautiful stroll into Kandy town.away from the hustle and bustle yet at the center of it at the same time. Hosts made us dinner drove us to town - got us train tickets at 4am last minute, I felt like a daughter and all who stayed felt the same.

Wonderful homely place. The rooms are spotless. Breakfast is a delicious buffet with eggs you can cook. We had an evening meal on the day of our stay which was also delicious. We travelled by train from Kandy and arrived really late but the owner picked us up from the station and we arrived to a lovely cup of tea. They also have us a lift into Kandy and provided very helpful advice on where to visit and how to get around. A perfect place to stay when visiting Kandy. Internet was not great but we got by.

Being a tour oprator, I have been workimg with Hanthana Jungle View for more than a year. I would say this is one of the best home stays in Kandy with a lovely family behind the whole super work they do to make their guests happy. Hospitality at their best! Food, cleanliness, guidnace of locality is superb.
