Jack Tree Lodge reviews
28 Nice house, but feels pretty sterile. Behind gates, no real contact to the pretty much invisible staff.
Clean, rather pricey.
Amazing property with beautiful views of Kandy city on one side and valley on the other! The owner - Mr. Dananjaya was very kind, courteous and supportive of our requests and made every effort to help make our stay a very pleasant one. I will like to return to Jack Tree Lodge someday. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was delicious.
This jack tree lodge is very peaceful place to stay. Very friendly staff and they give very friendly service
Map is wrong.there is no access road from Mabel cooray mawatha.only access road is from primrose (vajirarama) road
Exceeded our expectations! Booked a twin room initially, when we arrived we were kindly upgraded to the family room with a stunning mountain view! The room was huge and everything was newly refurbished. The owner Ruwan was amazing! He was always so helpful to all our needs and going out of his way and beyond our expectations. We are also very grateful to the staff who were absolutely brilliant! Always around to help with a smile and fantastic service (shout out to Tharindu my cute little friend). I would 100% definitely book this place again.
Note: The lodge is pretty far up the hill and the TukTuk drivers don't know the location so it's best if you buy a local sim there and navigate them with your GPS.
Nice and clean place and locates in a beautiful top. Kind staff and they always eager to service. Parking is available.
Good, clean, basic guest house. Run by very sweet and kind guys, who were eager to help with anything you need. View from the veranda was top notch, we had a slightly cloudy evening, but on a clear day I'm sure it would be amazing.
Best views if you plan to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of Kandy! Away from the noise. Sri Lankan breakfasts are amazing. No signage on the property though so not every tuk tuk driver will know its location. You kinda have to guide the driver everytime you get in from town once you are familiar with the route. Fairly new establishment. Clean, albeit slightly clinical. Could be improved as a "lodge" if its decor is cozier. Perhaps leave a tea making station for guest use? Would fit the bill better. Tharindu, the overly cute and young helper in the house is not overly fluent in English, so you can't have conversations with the lodge staff - but he'll pander to all your needs, which makes up for it. Overall, great stay, thank you ️
