It is not easy to reach as the road is in very bad condition. Only good thing is the care taker Mr. Sisira.

Interesting place. Food made by care taker Sisira is great. Need to sleep in the tent to get the ultimate experience. Even though river is super cool, felt it was not so clean to have a long bath.
3wheeler fellows are foxing visitors regarding the access road. It's not so bad as they describe, but a difficult drive. Not recommend for cars.
However would recommend the place as an average destination & will not revisit.

We went knuknuckes heavehe on 22nd December 2018 and the experience was very bad. Roads are damaged not recommending for cars. Also they promised us to provide 3 tents but unable to kept the word. Actually we have faced alot of difficulty there. They also given us a menu but didnt provide same. There are insects in the celing and alao bathrooms are not in good condition. We cannot keep thrust on the managment. Cannot recommend atleast single star. Not recommending this place.

The road to the place is a mess. Recommend going with a 4WD. It will get harder with the rain. The owners should do something about this seriously, may be maintaing a parking place and provide customers a ride from there.

But when you got there you will feel that it is a quite a place. Isolated in a corner in the land facing to a river (Hulu ganga) down the hill. And the care taker is very friendly. You can play cricket, badminton, carrom and can camp in outside tents if you are in love with leeches. They have a drum for your music and a grill for a perfect BBQ. You have to bring things with you from outside so that caretaker will cook meals for you. Also you can have a nice bath in the river. But they got I think two bathrooms and one hot water shower. They got three rooms two in the basement one with an attached bathroom.

The night can be enjoyed but when it reminds that you have to hit that damn road tomorrow morning, you will get back to normal again.

I would not give this place atleast one star. The owner of the place is a cheater and the breakfast provided is not sufficient. And the road to it is extremely difficult. Extremely sad for the price we paid. The caretaker actually provided a good service.

This is small 3 room bungalow with 2 bathrooms. They have some tents outside. Located in a very beautiful tea estate. Beautiful view of the Knuckles mountains. Best thing was Hulu Ganga, a river very close to the bungalow. Very save natural pool to bat in crystal clear natural water.
Bungalow needs some renovation but it has clean rooms and comfortable beds. Bathroom needs to be improved.
Service was good and staff was helpful and polite. Cooking was excellent.
Last 3Km on the road was very bad, you needs to have vehicles with good ground clearance.
Too far form Reverston and Mini Worlds End, It will take ~3hrs ride to Reverston.
This is really a wonderful place to get relaxed.
