Knuckles Misty Bungalow

I shared my real experience which was very bad but these ppl have deleted it. Cheaters guys beware

I stayed a couple of nights with my family. It was a very pleasant experience. We enjoyed the nature, calm, and cool environment, tasy food and the human interaction. Not only the staff but also the villagers were warm and friendly. The main negative point, perhaps the only one is the poor road condition. Hoping to visit again.

Can accommodate UpTo 12 people with 3 rooms. Clean and comfortable rooms with utilities for cooking and BBQ. Great place to stay if you are visiting Knuckles Mountain range.

We had perfect experience at the bunglow which has beautiful landscape in a scenic location. Staff and the food was great. Rooms were clean and spacious. Has lot of gathering spaces for family and friends. Can accommodate 10 persons easily. Several waterfalls nearby. Very memorable stay.

Calm and cool place. Located near the Knuckles mountain range.surrounding area is with lots of waterfalls and beautiful landscapes.
Staff is very friendly, Rooms and washrooms are clean and spacious, and there are separate spaces for gatherings. You can bring food items and they will cook them for you.highly recommended for family and friends gatherings.

Friendly service and great food! Place is also a great place to chill. If you look around that area there so many waterfalls and view point discover!

One of the best bungalows i have stayed. Can stay upto 10 pax. Cook and caretaker super friendly. The food prepared is mouthwatering. The owner is an exceptional person who gives you clear guidelines for the visitors.

Very nice place and best value for the money. Stayed two nights and the staff was very friendly and the food was excellent (specially the Thosa and Wadey). Owner was very friendly and was in touch throughout our stay. Clean rooms, wash rooms and kitchen. You can pick mangoes and other available fruits from their garden trees.

Fireplace with comfy chairs we enjoyed much while the BBQ was getting prepped. It also has place with very large screen so that you can enjoy a movie with your kids if you take your own projector and stuff.

Two beautiful waterfalls (Sera ella and Jodu ella) nearby with only 10 minutes drive. Also a very scenic view in just 1km towards Rangala from the bunglow.

There is a safe place to have a bath very nearby if you are not planning to travel too far. It was not crowded at all and we were the only group bathing on a Sunday.

There is a water stream just 5 min walk and you can have a bath of clean fresh and cold water safely. To cover the places and enjoy the environment, you have to stay at least two nights.
The staff of the bungalow is very helpfull, and kind. You have to bring the food items when you come in and they will cook for you. But don't worry, There are few local boutiques where you can buy vegetables and spices nearby. One thing to note is that the stairs to the washroom is bit slippery and be carefull on that.

This place is excellent. It is clean & well maintained.we stayed here for two days. Staff is frindly. Rooms are spacious. All the facilities are same as described in website. No fake photos. Bathrooms are well equipped especially with hot water. You can enjoy your holiday just as you planned. There are lots of attractions in close proximity to Misty Bungalow including beautiful waterfalls, Dead pool & Knuckles 360 view point. We highly recommend this place.

Located near the knuckles mountain range.recommended for family vacation or friends gathering. The view is excellent. Can visit many waterfalls and rivers. In second day caretakers switched off the electricity and said power has gone. But we saw the power board was switched off. Don’t do that cheap things.

This bungalow has only 3rooms and out of that 2were huge. Unfortunately those rooms weren't equipped with fans or A/Cs. The two friendly care takers of the place cook for visitors and ready to support at anytime.
The morning view of knuckles mountains from this place was a heaven.

We had a visit on December 2018. Place and environment is very attractive.road is quite difficult via Rangala.
Average staff service. If you are wish to perpare your own meal there, all the facilities are there.

The place had a very scenic view at the foot of the mountain.
The facilities were good.
The bathrooms were spacious and clean.
The cooks and the caretaker were very friendly and helpful and made sure we were comfortable.
Eranga the caretaker was an excellent guide and took us to the top of the mountain.
Overall a very memorable experience.

One of the great Bungalows that sitting under Knuckles mountain range. Nice cosy place that can accommodate for 10-12 people easily. Clean and tidy rooms is just icing on the cake. The two care takers are unbelievably friendly and can make good food. From there you can easily reach more than 3 picturesque waterfalls.

Good hospitality.if we supply required food stuff, they will give a very tasty meal. From there we can easily visit knuckles falls, sari ella and Knuckles peak. Nice view of Knuckles mountain range.
