Meemure is an isolated village in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It's around 50 Km from Kandy town. It's part of the Knuckles range. The form of waterfalls that have their sources in the evergreen forests of the Knuckles. You can reach by vehicles.four wheels and bikes are more compatible. Also you can use rent for night out and enjoy the night view.
33 km from main road. Nearly 10 km road is very damage nowadays. Mobile signal weak. Best of enjoyment place.
We spent 2 days there, no mobile phones, free from.busy life. Breathed the village cool air, paddy fields, buffaloes ploughing the paddy fields, hike to water fall, nature pool bathing, rented a house which is a traditional old village house, had BBQ. Water sports, sliding, confidence jumping.
Superb place to visit. This place have some popular stories. Nice & calm for your mind.
Try it guys!
