If you are going for hiking this is the worse place to stay. Kithsiri is a terrible liar and his wrong directions messed our hike to lakegala and journey back to Colombo. He wasted our good evening to taking us to Dandenikumbura village which didn't have anything to enjoy/watch or experience. Price he charged was bit high too. You can find same facilities from many other places in Meemure at a better price than Ganga Addara. Only speciality in this place is it is just located close to river. Last, don't believe Kithisri

Camp site is clean and tidy. There is a good bathing place nearby as well. But DO NOT DEPEND on the instructions given by them to visit places and enjoy the tour. Do not trust their words. We had to waste lot of our valuable time because of their fault information.
About food - First check with them what you will get (meals and tea/plain tea.). We were not able to get additional plain tea even though we badly needed a hot plain tea at some point.

Clean and well maintained camping ️ Site. We were able to experience the most amazing camping and water adventure experience so far. Guides and Mr Kithsiri (The owner) were very friendly and supportive. Food are average village and can be recommended as nutritious and well prepared. BBQ was a different experience there with the way it was arranged. Safety jackets and other equipments with experienced and friendly staff are available for water activities. Overall we have spent a great time with these guys for wonderful two days.
