Lovely attentive staff. Very helpful in organising trips around the area. Food is amazing. Brilliant place with a stunning view of the nature. They have two rooms and one tent setup one room has an attached bathroom and another common toilet and a open shower area. The path to the resort from the main road is about 300m uphill but if you are travelling in a 4x4 you can easily get up there. The only issue we faced is not having a refrigerator in the dining area. But they managed to chill the beer and soft drinks from a nearby home. If you are looking to get some quality "kithul pani" and jaggey the owner will point you out a place to buy them as well.

A very good place to stay. They have rooms and tent. They'll provide the food. View is very good.

The manager is the most friendly person ever. He and his family make you feel you are part of their home, with the most delicious cooking of his mom and the homemade drinks of his dad, who is also very funny and kind. Last but not least, the viewpoint of the property is extraordinary!

Just note that you have to go up quite a bit to arrive at the property but totally worth it! Also, Chamimde’s English is not excellent but he does his very best to make sure you are happy and satisfied.

සුන්දර ගැමි පරිසරයක ගත කිරීමට හොඳ තැනක්. වන මැද කඳු ගැටයක සිට පහළ ගම්මාන ලස්සනට පෙනෙන අයුරින් සාදා තිබීම නිසා පැය ගණනක් බලා සිටීමට පුලුවන.

The place is gorgeous, the food is brilliant and the people are extremely nice. Would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a place to stay when in Meemure.

You can escape the ordinaraly and dwell with the nature, top of the hill location is really attractive and on a full moon day the night view is amazing
The sound from the flow of river blown in to the tent by the wind is a meditation? ‍️
You have option of out door and indoor washrooms as you please

The hike uphill from the main road will take around 10mins from the main road and its worthy climbing

If you are looking for a place to stay in Meemure, “Meemure Wenasa” is the best place for your stay with no doubt.
The view from the top is breathtaking.
Place is surrounded by trees, mountains and you can view paddy fields and the river from the top. You can stay inside rooms or a tent as per your wish. Rooms have attached bathrooms. Food is really tasty too.
The owner is really helpful and try to make your stay an unforgettable one.

Access: The place is situated about 270m top from the main road. If you are going by your own vehicle, the owner will arrange a separate place (very safe) to stop the vehicle as vehicles can’t reach the top.

We would love to visit here again!

Couple එකකට උනත් ගිහින් නිදහසේ ඉන්න පුලුවන් ලංකාවේ තියෙන සුපිරිම ලස්සන තැනක්. ඇත්තටම අපිට එන්න හිතුනේ නෑ තවත් දවසක් වැඩිපුර ඉදලා අපි ආවේ. කෑමත් ගෙදර වගේම රසට තිබුනා. යන පාරත් වෙනම ලෝකයක් වගේ. නවාතැන් පහසුකම් ඉහලම මට්ටමේන් අපිට ලබාදුන්නා ආරක්ශිත සහ පිරිසිදුකම ඉතාමත් හොදයි. අම්බලන්ගොඩ ඉදන් ආපු අපිට මෙතන තියෙන view Point එකෙ ඉදන් කන්ද දිහා බලන් සින්දුවක් අහනවා කියනේ මම හිතන්නේ නෑ ගෙදර එන්න පුලුවන් වෙයි කියලා ඒ තරම් එක මනසට නිදහසක්. ඉතින් අවසාන වශයෙන් මම ගිහිපු තැන් වලින් ආසම තැන මෙතන්ක යන්න පුලුවන්. ඒ වගේම මේ Place එකෙ Owner සුපිරිම චරිතයක් ️අපිත් එක්ක යාලුවෝ වගේ දවස් 4 ම හිටියා. ඉතින් අවසාන වශයෙන් කියන්න තින්නේ මම යන හැම තැනකම මේ වගේ සුන්දර මිනිසුන් හමුවෙන්න කියලා️

This is where we found our own happiness without any limit. Chaminda aiya gave his best to make us more happy & to enjoy full of eternal beauty of meemure village. There is no such a place to compare with this beautiful place.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Wenasa (Meemure, Srilanka). Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to enjoy a calm journey.

The best place ever to stay in Meemure. " Meemure Wenasa". The owner Mr Chaminda is very friendly and personally takes care of the guests. Food served was traditional Sri Lankan and so delicious. BBQ with Kithul Toddy was fantastic. The entire stay was a wonderful experience where we got to visit all the scenic places in the village with the best guide Mr Sugath Bandara (Madaya). If you ever plan to visit meemure we highly recommend *Meemure Wenasa* and the guide. ️

Perfect place in Meemure with warm hospitality and friendly staff. Always the owner take care of their cuatomers from check in to until leaving the premises. Even though there is not rich buffet, it is very tast and always they are concerned on hygienic factors. Since surround area is totally covered from forest cap, it is significantly enabling to enrich snake habitats, therefore those who visiting and staying are adviced to be vigilant from snake biting. However, it is a nice place with warm hospitality and friendly staff with vivacious surroundings.
