Thought they mention it’s a Homestay there is a separate apartment with private entrance, balcony, small kitchen and etc. It is separated from the owner’s house. I had a great stay.
They arrange tours by car/tuk tuk for reasonable prices. Dance show tickets also there.
It’s very convenient.

I’ve been to so many budget hotels and homestays all around south and Southeast Asia and countless places in Sri Lanka and this is the best bang for the buck homestay out of all. Amazingly kind and helpful hosts and staff, hygiene and cleanliness at is best with a common kitchen area with new clean utensils, provided with clean linen and toiletries with hot water. And the view is phenomenal. When ever I’m visiting Kandy I’m definitely coming here. Thank you Mountain View Homestay for your amazing service.

The best place in Kandy to stay for long days. The uncle and the other persons are very kind and never disturbed for anything. Rooms are very clean and the view is amazing. We enjoyed our weekend in Mountain View Homestay more than we excepted. Highly recommended for everyone️

Trust me, this is the best budget hotel in Kandy I've ever been. Room was super awesome. And you dont need Air condition because the location is super cold. At night it becomes colder and I was shivering all night. That was some kind of different experience to me. Though I love that. Room is super clean and pure. In the bathroom you must use hot water and I had to. Hot water is available.
? ? ? ? , Tea as your needs because this is a home stay. Double room was super comfortable. Because I only tried that one. Family rooms might be good. The next thing is balcony view. You are totally feel free to walk anywhere in the balcony but at night you just cant do it. Because that is super cold and windy. The area is vast and can spend a nice time there.
? ? ? ? ? ? , is human friendly. The uncle there is a good guy who treats their customers really nice. He is really such a gentlemen who served us with good manners.
I spent there my vacation. That was unfortunately only one day I had to stay. Anyhow I highly recommend this? ? ℍ? For your vacation and any other purpose of visit. The place is not hard to find. The navigation brings you to the exact location once you hit it. The sign board is there. No trouble finding it

This is one of the best budget rooms in Kandy. With a best night view and with cool environment. You can walk freely in the varanda outside of your room and there are some tables and chairs.so you can have a chat while watching outside. If you are coming to kandy these days you may need comfortable clothes to prevent you from shivering at night and you will have great service from the uncle who owns this. Such a kind hearted person with great communication skill and you will feel he is someone who knows you for a long time. This is little bit far away from the city but you can find it through navigation without difficulties.worth to visit

Very friendly, hospitable and helpful owners, beautiful views, clean and cozy rooms. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet at night. Clean nice looking bathroom with hot shower. Beautiful view, just as the name of the place promises. There's a fridge, microwave, kettle, plates etc for guests. The location is a bit out of town but it's still walkable or you can get a tuk tuk.

Very friendly owner, tuktuk driver during his free time and the tuk-tuk (29 years old!) is very nice!
