Reasonably priced and well appointed rooms. Good Food. Nice stay for short business trip or quick gateway.

This place is really nice and calm! Rooms are spacious and beautiful! We got the ocean view room, and the view from the room is really calm and beautiful!

The rooms are awesome. It seems like they know just what they want to make the guest feel at home experience.very thoughtful. The staff are well trained, very polite, helpful.

Good property but due to recent economic situation the maintenance is not up to the level it was. Otherwise kind people and always accessible for any services. Routine maintenance is not done by the hotel management, we need to request every time and done perfectly.

Good food, helpful staff and a friendly price. The special rice is highly recommended as it is good for 2-3 adults and has plenty of meat and veggies.

On 22/03/2021 I ordered a cake from oak Ray city hotel Kandy completing the full payment and later i wanted to cancel it so I phoned the number in the bill to make the cancellation. And they said that they can cancel it but i need to buy something else for that amount. But after I went to the Oak Ray city hotel, they said that number is not the right one and the number in the bill is belong to the oak ray in Dhaladha veedeya. So they cannot make the cancellation because they don’t have anything to do with that number. Very bad service

I went to bring a cake and salesmen said it's an LKR 1,400.00. Then I agreed to buy & paid for that. After that, when I tried to leave, they call me again and ask another LKR 550.00 for that cake. When I asked why, they said that they were wrong. They are not mentioned the item prices & they didn't issue an invoice for me. Seems they are cheeting to customers. I can't recommend to anyone this cheapest hotel. Also, this a full illegal action. "Oak Ray" it's just a name. Never do not be fooled.

The best restaurant ever visited in kandy. Highly recommend. Food is a cheap for the quality and the service.

I ordered some food to be delivered to my house today. The order was made using the PickMe App. They rendered a perfect service.
The delivery charges from the hotel to my house in Ampitiya was only Rs. 30 which is very very good.
The portion of food delivered was really enough for two people (except for the beef and egg) and the price was very reasonable compared to the quality and quantity delivered.
Very good service. Keep it up!
I can recommend their service to anyone.

4 stars rate is a hoax, it is way far from this, it is dirty place in a dangerous area of Kandy.
I had one of my worst experiences ever, I went for dinner and came back around 10: 30 PM and gueas what? The main door is locked and no one in the reception, NO ONE, no key was given nor information waa told about this, 30 minutes knocking on the door with no answers, meanwhile 3 drunk guys from the street approached wondering what is happening. I had to look up their number online, I found 2 numbers, eventually one was working and some girl answered me that She will cal them, apparently the guard and the receptionist left the hotel locking whoever inside inside and who is outside outside, they came after my call with 10 minutes
- The location is on of the worst in Kandy
- The staff need to be educated how to deal with customers.

Room and view really nice (try to get an upper deluxe room), distance to center good and the staff is really friendly. Checkout the roof top)

Peaceful place.situated near to the main road and town but no any disturbance or noise.friendly staff the manager is friendly and helpful to the customers. He will ask and provide you the best service as possible. Food is okay.
