Amazing!

The hosts are amazing and so accommodating, the location is perfect, a few minutes walk from a beautiful river absolutely packed with wildlife and kind smiling locals

Breakfast food was great, they were able to prepare vegan food for us easily and knew exactly what we wanted - a nice touch

We stayed in the apartment, it was great. Easily enough room for 2 people, a well-thought out kitchen setup, really good value for money

Perfect and quiet accomodation away from the rush of the city center. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hosts are so lovely and very helpful. They organized a tuk tuk or drove us themselves to the center of Kandy. We were also lucky enough to be picked up by the host in Nuwara Eliya to drive us to Kandy. He is very knowledgeable and could tell us alot about his country. And the stops on the way at lookouts and food stands were really nice and introduced us to some Sri Lankan food we had not tasted before. They also have a private spice and fruit garden which they are happy to show. You can even buy some of the spices from them) The hosts really made our stay very memorable. I would stay here again! We had a wonderful stay at river valley residence. Lovely hosts, very sweet pets, yummy breakfast, neat kitchenette equipped with a stove and fridge just right for our early morning coffee. Very enjoyable stay!

The hosts are really friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have two adorable dogs and three just as cute cats. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, however there is no A. C so it gets warm in the afternoons. The Apartment room also has a kitchenette. Delicious breakfast is provided by the hosts. Great place to stay if you are planning to visit Kandy.

One of our best stays in srilanka! Everything, including bed, room, service, breakfast was in perfect order! We loved the animals as well! Nikki is such a cute dog, and the loveley cats! Definiteley a place to return to!
