Place is just mesmerizing! Located smack bang in the middle of the hills.far away from society.perfect if looking for solitude.

Good Wifi Signal.common area is great too.with a nice big entertainment system.i think karaoke is available too. Dialog Cable with all the channels. Pool/Snooker Table. Darts. Carrom.

Swimming Pool isnt as big as the pics.but is still great (just freezing most of the time). Jacuzzi is great too. Water is warmer in that.

Food was great.recommend the Devilled Dishes.

Wasnt too impressed with the service. We didn't have Jacob.who seems to be the legend (from the reviews). Apart from meal times. Siva & Anand were more than happy to not be on the property during service hours stipulated in case we needed something.also we had to ask for certain things mentioned in the menu.and they would look at us blankly and almost annoyed that we asked (mind you.it was just cut fruit). But this only happened once.after which.all items were provided as per set menu. They kept saying we will do as you like.but it was clear they were not too pleased.

On Check in.we found that the sheets we had to sleep on were unchanged and had lots of hair on it (our guess.from previous guests)

Unfortunately these last 2 things.took away from the whole stay.otherwise 5/5

I stayed at Rockbourne Bungalow a couple of months back with my family. The place is amazingly beautiful and well maintained. The crew is very polite and their service is really great. Food was very good and they catered for our needs and preferences. We spent a very relaxing and an enjoyable stay there.

Amazing place and the location to chill and enjoy with are friends for a holiday getaway for 2 days in February 2023 and I would like to thank the proprietor of this great rockbourne Bungalow for the permission to let us come as a group. Thank you so much. It's a great place to relax and we thank JACOB & SIVA for giving us a wonderful and friendly welcome & the food was excellent the bungalow was extraordinary peaceful place. Very clean, comfortable rooms and the toilet too. And we did a hiking in to the mountains. The popurassa town is a quite place as well it is like 1970's. So we had a wonderful time with my friends highly recommended we definitely will visit again with are family. Thanks from all best friends. We would like to suggest you to provide a welcome drink or a cup of tea, coffee for the guests.

This beautiful colonial type bungalow, located in the middle of a beautiful mountain range, where you can enjoy the antiquity and GREEN mixed with freedom, as well as the often changing cold and hot weather, is truly haven to enjoy life.
Our hearts and minds were always kept warm because of the high level hospitality services of caretakers, delicious and hot food as well and.

Absolutely loved the 3 day stay with my extended family. The place has all what u want for a relaxed time. Jacob and Siva are very welcoming, friendly and took care of us quite well. Jacob prepared some mouth watering food for us. Will visit again for sure. The below pic was taken at sunrise and it was just a breathtaking view.

Its nice place to have a holiday with very helpful and polite staff. We had delicious meals, snaks and bbq. Well arranged service from beginning to end. The place is surrounded by beautiful range of mountains and easy access for hiking area with pinus trees. Best place to relax. Special thanks to Jacob, shashi and seeya.

Great location, good food, lots of things to enjoy, freindly staff specially "yoga"

A refurbished tea estate bungalow, with all required facilities. Situated at Pupuressa an area with a very cool climate. The whole estate is a 10 acres large land and is a progressing tea plantation. I stayed there for two nights and was a very relaxing stay, comfortable rooms, good food, and most importantly a beautiful swimming pool.highly recommended for a vacation.

Excellent getaway for me, the wife and 7 other friends! Yoga, the caretaker takes care of the guests just as well as he takes care of the grounds, which are immaculately clean. He will also take you on an excursion up the side of the hill to see views from around the region. Definitely will go here again when I return to sri lanka!

From the interior to the view and everything else about this place will take your breath away. Very friendly and welcoming hosts and the in-house cook Shiva will definitely add a spice to your holiday. You cannot just get enough of this view alongside the pool. Will definitely visit again. Much recommended!

We had an amazing stay at the Rockbourne Bungalow. The location was great and the road to the bungalow was pretty decent. The owners have preserved the essence of the time it was originally built whilst adding a modern touch to enhance the quality of our stay. The bungalow was very well maintained. The cook was great, the kitchen was very clean and I did notice that the they washed each and every utensil before using even though they were clean. Our caretaker, Yoga was always there to make sure we had everything we wanted. And the manager Mr. Piyanka was constantly checking up on us to make sure we are comfortable. No complains whatsoever about the place or the service provided. Looking forward for another stay!
