Rockbourne Estate

This was an excellent place for vacation. Very helpful staff is there. Very clean rooms. Tasty food. Nice environment.

Tranquil is the one word to describe this place! Located just 1 hours drive from Galaha junction it is unbelievably calm and quiet. The staff are very friendly and the place is well maintained. It's great for a family get away. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained with hotwater, hair dryer and toiletries. The place is also equipped with a big TV room complete with surround sound and a karaoke system

One major negative is the food prepared by the chef inhouse. There is nothing special and they are not trained enough. Meals are quite ordinary with too much spice (chili) and missed that spark expected at a place of this high standard.to prepare a BBQ. The meat was raw and not sufficiently marinated.

Also the swimming pool is considerably smaller than the images but is well maintained.

Might not go again as not sure if the price payed is worth it but still would not hesitate to recommend to someone who is looking to get away from busy townlife but doesn't want to drive too far.

This is a beautiful secret up in the mountains. Very worth to stay here away from the hustle and travel to Kandy for destinations. It’s a wonderful experience with luxurious services. You can learn about tea culture as well.
