We are so pleased with the services of this company. We booked a car and driver for our 9 days in Sri Lanka and were able to explore so much of the beautiful country. I highly recommend the service. It is super professional and honest. We got an written offer before getting to Sri Lanka, so we exactly new the price and all the conditions.

Car is new, clean like a brand new, with A/C, so the ride is very confortable. The owner and the driver are extremely kindly persons. They took care of us throughout the whole trip. If we wanted they recommended us very worth visiting places. In particular I enjoyed visiting Kandy with the owner and driver.

We were given help once entering to several tourist in order to avoid being robbed.

There were no problem that we were changing ideas about our trip almost every day. Once we did, we were given help and new advices.

Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Ek and Mr Ratna for a hospitable treatment during our stay in Sri Lanka. They are like a family that assures you are safe in their country and valuing feedbacks from their guest.

They are approachable and always on time, although we pre-plan our trip they are also giving suggestions on some local tourist spot that we might like to check.

We had hired an AC mini van for around 8 days to travel around Sri Lanka from this agency and we highly recommend it! Mr Ek quoted a very good price for us, probably the most economical amongst all other car hiring agencies. He also met us personally and gave us some very useful tips.

Mr Sampath was our driver who was ever willing to drive us around anywhere at any time of the day or night without any qualms. He is very trust worthy and accommodating and wouldn't mind skipping his meal to make sure we get to our next destination on time!

The van was in very good condition, overall we were completely satisfied!

We had an incredible experience with this company. It was an spontaneous trip and we were not sure what to do. Ek gave suggestions for the itinerary adjusted to our budget, and was willing to arrange any requirement to make the trip easier, from accommodation, to restaurants and tours. The driver, Chamara, was extremely polite, interesting and fun. I will definitely would like to hire their services again.

I got in touch with EK from Sri Lanka Hill Country Tours around 10 days before traveling as I was in search for a good rate for a trustworthy company to provide a driver with a van for my family to travel around Sri Lanka, EK responded with a full itinerary for 6 days, the prices were reasonable and the itinerary was thorough.

When we arrived both EK and Sampath the chauffeur were there to greet us, they were both welcoming, extremely polite and helpful throughout our stay.

They have provided information about different locations and know their way well around Sri Lanka, they were able to provide recommendations on locations based on our interest, we have visited a number of locations some of which are Galle Fort, the Galle maritime museum, Damro Tea factory and plantations, Udawattakele forest (a unique location for those interested in hiking that won’t be listed on the internet), a turtle hatchery amongst other places.

We used Sri Lanka Hill Country Tours on a recent trip to Sri Lanka and would highly recommend! Mr EK was really helpful in the booking process and provided some really great suggestions and also came to meet with us which was lovely. Our driver Chamy (Chamera) was fantastic and a lot of fun, nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to make sure we had a good time and made recommendations he thought we would like etc. We also used an additional driver organised by the company later in our trip who was great as well.

Mr. Ek and his company was one of the best rental companies I have ever used. I cannot stress on this more. Talks and negotiations with him were swift and efficient, the price he offered even during peak season was unbeatable and he was extremely helpful throughout. Our driver Herath was a gem. Have rarely worked with people like him. He was not just a driver but a great guide as well. Our car broke down at one point. Others would have panicked in such a scenario, but Ek and Herath made sure we got an alternate car swiftly and didnt face trouble. Truly a great Sri Lanka tour. Thanks to Ek and his company!

We spent day with this service 3 city - Galle, Kandy and Colombo. They clarify ecpense cleary and no need addition of payment. Their price are very reasonable. Mr. Ek and Mr. Shan are friendly and very helpfull.

We used the services provided by Sri Lanka Hill Country Tours twice. First time was from April 25 to 30th, and then we went to a 10-day meditation retreat. Because the service was so excellent, we decided to use them again later from April 10 to 14. The first trip took us to all the major tourist sites around Kandy (north and south), the second trip took us to Galle and Bentota and Colombo.

Overall, it’s a great trip. Mr. EK, the owner, was very quick and responsive when I first contacted him in early April, and planned a very well thought out itinerary. He met us in the airport upon arrival and toured with us for the first day. He has also checked on us during the tour from time to time and picked out some interesting book gifts for our meditation stay. His driver Gayashan is very courteous, responsive and professional during the whole trip, navigating through the winding, and busy highways while made numerous King Coconut drink stops along the way! We miss those fruit stands! We were also loaded with interesting items from our impulse stops for getting wood carvings, gem stones, teas and spices.

All in all, we had a great vacation. My wife and I would definitely recommend our friends and relatives to us EK’s company in future Sri Lankan tours. Using a smaller company like his, customers do get more attention from the owner. Of course, our driver Gayashan is great. They both speak excellent English and have explained all we wanted to know themselves, or via the local tour guides they arranged in advance for us at different ancient sites.

I just spent 8 days with these guys - they were brilliant. I made contact with EK about 10 days before my trip and gave them a rough outline of what I wanted. They came back with a proposed itinery. Gayashan my driver spoke good English, and showed me around with enthusiasm. They arranged hotels for me - in fact nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all for making my visit to Sri Lanka memorable from the Temples and elephants in the north to whale watching in the south.

EK arranged for us a very enjoyable ride from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. We stopped at a waterfall and a tea factory before he dropped us off at the train station. He even helped us buy our tickets and carry our luggage all the way to the platform. The driver was excellent and we felt very safe the whole time (not a very common feeling on these roads!). It was a beautiful drive, and I highly recommend booking with EK as he will take good care of you. He was very quick to reply to and he offered us a very fair price. Thanks for everything!

I booked sightseeing tour after discussion of my tour plan with Mr. Ek on email. He was very prompt and quick to reply with best package. We travelled in Sri Lanka for 4days covering Kandy, Nuwara eliya and Colombo. Gayshan was our guide he was very good and knowledgeable. Vehicle and entire service from Ek was great. We had lost some stuff near one of the sightseeing spot. Gayshan was very helpful and took us to nearest police station, he helped us in every possible way. My daughter and her friends totally 7 in number all between 24to 25 had travelled without any male member had travelled to srilanka. Mr. EK took care of them with utmost care and ensured their safety and security. On the basis of this we in a group of 13 took his guidance and his organised tour was without any complaint. He is well behaved and gave transport in an excellent air-conditioned vehicle. He sent vehicle to airport and arranged lodges which were decent and had a warm hospitality. The tour of five days us a pleasant memory. He accompanied us from airport to airport.
